Well, originally, I thought they'd get all shocked about what they just did, and get all bashful and shy, and the MC might have dialog options to coax her out from behind some walls she'd quickly pulled up. But instead, she kept on joking, trying to shock the mc, talk about what happened, to connect with him really. So I gave up and let her run with that.
Mind you, there's quite a few different ways that scene can play out. Here's a diagram I did for it for a blog post on patreon/subscribestar a while back (after the fact, I don't document my work in that way normally). Sometimes it feels like you gotta keep two or three versions of a character in your head, not just one.

Nearly 4 years to type 60 words and you're kvetching about the time it is taking to develop an update that includes 5-10 hours of playtime, hundreds of images and thousands of words, for a VN you aren't required to pay a single penny for because the developer gives it to the public for free. I guess it's true what the old man said, "It's not easy being green."

I think you're tossing words out that you don't completely comprehend. The developer owes you nothing. Doesn't owe you a word, an image; doesn't owe you the time of day. He has stated time and again that production schedule doesn't have a deadline, but that it will be ready when it's ready and not a moment before. You didn't pay a dime for it, you didn't pay a penny for it. Even if you are now or were ever a subscriber - that isn't paying for the VN.
The developer literally creates this VN and gives it to the public for free. The audacity that you are demanding a gift - and that is what it is, a gift, something given to you in exchange for nothing - to be given sooner shows that you aren't using any critical thought, but rather showing yourself as a prime example of entitlement.
