Yes a couple split between season 1 and season 2 if I remeber first one after the ritual near the end of season 1.
Might be just before memory foggy but think it was after.
And thats the second ritual not the one at the pool with the 3 from work..

Is there a way to only have a relationship with only one of the girls (Denise or Macy). I've been trying, but either you don't have one or you have both, but I haven't been able to get just one of them.

Okay. Had to break up my play time into two sittings.
For those that think this is a "short update" - I call bullshit.
People who actually read the narrative and dialogue (and seeing as this is a visual NOVEL, people should) - Chapter 8 is around 7 hours or longer (7.5 hours in my experience, with auto-forward and text speed set at quick, quite reasonable, clip). The 7 sex scenes (plus the initial kitchen tease) is about 25% of the total playing time (1.75 hours in my experience - if you linger, it's longer).
Breakdown (roughly):
Monday - 90 minutes
Tuesday - 135 minutes
Wednesday - 55 minutes
Thursday - 80 minutes
Friday - 80 minutes
Overall, I think it was a good continuation of the story and interesting merge of NR's other concepts with Goldie.

This update was a totally surprise, I was pretty sure to this game was dead but well glad to know we finally can bang Denise and of course Brooke deserves more love.

The little death was indeed in reference of the French phrase, and the beast with two backs is very likely the source of the creature allusion, although in the latter case I didn't specifically think of that exact quote when writing, but lord knows I'm no stranger to cryptomnesia.
Oh, and if I ever get around to making that goblincore fantasy band wallpaper, it'll definitely be named doorbells and tiddies

Apart from her attitude which I allready said is a turn off I'm not sure I like macy's new hair style either.
The old one would of been just as good and more than presentable for her new Job as Office Manager but oh well.
Although the games still great.
