This is what happens when you trust windows defender to protect your pc. I agreed that people should use their own save files but there are lazy dudes that just want to see sex. So for them just have a good third party behavior detection based antivirus (Bitdefender or Kaspersky maybe) before playing anything pirated then you'll be mostly fine.

Nope, as far as I understand pickled Python code (which is what a save file is) isn't something any of them really scan for (although I'd love to see conclusive data on that either way).

Bottom line, don't do it. Don't expect your fancy virus scanner to solve it for you (I'm on BD myself, and I wouldn't).

You must have skipped a date with Brooke because of the older sister's jealousy, Date Brooke, everything will end fine between the MC and the older sister.

I don't think so, but the thing is, you should always side with Brooke. But, if you can't find a way, go to preferences, there is a small cheat there that you can unlock Brooke (or anyone else that got locked away from your playthrough).

Yea, I would still have the ring ceremony if I was with all three right? I went in the second season and only get the choice on if I want the chance to lock out denise and macy

Every interaction that locks out a character will have a little text saying ('this will lock out...") in he menu option (used to be only for Macy and Denise, but I've added it for all other characters a chapter or two back). So as long as you didn't pick any of those options, that character still is available.

In addition, chapter 8 explicitly warns you if you locked out Brooke or the Coven when importing your choices from chapter 7, so if you didn't get that message, you're good.

This is a great game naughtyroad. The writing and pacing is perfect. The graphical style is unique and interesting, but not offputting. There's gonna be a hundred people shitting on you because statistically those people post more than the people that are happy, so i just want you to know, you've done well.

If you are presented with choices which can lock you out of certain content, it will be clearly indicated. You can be assured that the dev will not pull a "gotcha" on you.

I'm absolutely loving the game and pretty far into chapter 7. I was wondering though; how does your save for chapters 1 through 7 work for chapter 8? Does anything carry over? Do I have to do anything special to have my saved transfer to chapter 8?

At the end of chapter 7, you will be told what to do for data to carry over to chapter 8. It's pretty simple and straightforward .
