Not as such. The first thing anyone sees of a new chapter is when the beta comes out, and usually about a week later the whole thing is out for everyone.
To be honest, I'm not comfortable letting anyone see it in progress and incomplete (apart from the wires hanging out etc., I'm worried it won't make sense and there'll be way too much speculation). Everyone (even the beta testers) get it in as polished of a state as I can get it.

No, the developer posts here and provides updates.
What afterlights said. Iirc abandoned is for 3 months no contact from the dev, or at request of the dev regardless of time.

Ugh, obviously not the person you were responding to but... Discord is a level of interpersonal communication that I'm not comfortable with, I have no desire to be that engaged in anything these days... I'm good with the random post on the pervy pirate site.
No worries, someone usually puts it up here within days. Even so, with 6K+ members, only a tiny fraction of them are active posters, and it's one of the quietest servers I know. Which suits me fine, really; I have a game to make.
