Does nothing with the setting.
I don't even care about the fetishes that much, but when I first played a much earlier version I got my hopes up for the whole Spermfleet thing. I was envisioning a bunch of interconnected activities around the ship to earn resources and stats that actually matter outside that activity and result in visible changes in the gameplay environment. That's what the demo years ago felt like it was building up to. Instead we just got a bunch of disconnected Flash games.

And I don't know if this is a hot take or not but I lose most of my interest in a game as soon as I see any of the words "chapter" or "episode" in the title of a game.

I think most people want a progression in narrative, but the dev spends a lot of time on minigame ideas which are all kind of samey.
There are also people like me here who want to see the content announced like two years ago (futa planet) being actually done instead of the dev moving on to work on the sequel without being even close to finishing this one.

Unfortunately i think both this game and dev will go down the same road that the dev of Umichan-Maiko went (the game was abandoned while still blatantly unfinished and the dev went on to do even more half-assed sequels and crap tier minigames nobody asked for).

While I don't agree with your conclusion, I did find it odd how much Scope creep this game has been getting with all these mini games. If I look up their , I would have said that Halftilt is done with Episode 1.
Last poll for the design of the Techno Futas was at the end of June.
So there should be some plot progress coming soon

I'm confused. The menu descriptions of Linessa do NOT match her behavior.
Take this with a grain of salt as this is something the Dev said on a subscribe star post alongside their discord. Apparently in the full release Linessa's personality will slowly transition into a slut over the course of the game's events driven by your decisions. Since we are still in early access she shifts personailitys much faster in order for us to enjoy that side of her, now Idk how true this will be but its what the Dev mentioned last year.

My take from speaking with them is that, ‘Hey, we’re getting this stuff out to get people’s feedback. Then we’re going to add full animations, tweak the gameplay, etc.” down the line.

Unlike others devs I’ve spoken with, they’re extremely active in the Discord and even take feedback from non-supporters/newbies and full-on backers alike.

Not everyone’s cup a tea, and of course there are things I’d like to see changed. In the end, they are passionate and proactive - so I look forward to see what they have in store. You never know how an artist can surprise if you let them do their thing. Knowing this game it’ll probably be a several years job still.

Good thing I got time. ;)

Oh man does anyone have the last save of the game? It's so hard to start the game again since my save was deleted after the update 6 months ago.

I tried to tell him no one asked for a fantasy subplot when you've just barely finished the introduction. It'll turn people off.

I think the biggest problem is that the dev himself got a serious case of a burnout, and i sort of get it, he bit off way more than he can chew and right now after so much time he would rather work on something, anything else but this.

The above however just shows that game development is not for everybody as the dev made a #1 beginner's mistake, namely: "Don't make your first game into a dream game". What that means is that you should keep your first few projects simple and within a reasonable scope rather than trying to cram it chock full of everything you can think of with the game dying from feature creep.

What will kill this game however is not just the feature creep but also the fact that this guy is actually selling his first game (it is kinda funny how random amateurs with no completed games under their belt think that they can just sell their unfinished stuff when they have zero experience of developing even the non profit games) and both of those things combined with more than a bit of lack of planning will be the end of this project in the long run.
