I haven't encountered that bug. You could try closing the window. I had an event with the Joseph guy and one of his events would take forever to load for whatever reason. I had to solve it by lowering the animation smoothness.

Yeah even though my PC has high specs. For whatever reason some of the animations scenes with lilia won't load with the animation frame rate at maximum. Most likely due to a poor optimization of the system or maybe its to much for RPG maker to handle.

this thread might need an update. the kagura games 1.05 patch is already out for a while.
the 1.03 I encounter issues with animation that won't load. this is the error log

Issue solved by updating this steam version to 1.05 patch from kagura games official website (they only added animation smoothness config to compensate)

Is there any way to disable or at least toggle the portraits? I prefer to be able to see around rather than 1/3 of the screen be covered by them, also moving and moving. I've pressed everything and I can't see anything in the options to do that.

Start the game load the savefile and interact with it.
That's how you unlock the gallery.
Normal for Acerola games.

its working, i had updated it to new patch, thats why it didnt work, went back to original, then the saves were working. Still thanks for the help!!

how'd it work for you? and what version are you running, I'm running the version provided on page 1 a of now ver 1.03 (not the old gpt one or the patch below it)
