Lilim union shows its age. It has many clunky things like no auto run, no backlog and some titles and scenes are locked behind ng+ (if you defeat Olivia, you will miss the tentacle jail room).
The bestiary not having the elemental weakness doesn't really do its job properly so you have to rely on your memories, luckily there aren't many monsters to remember anyways.
Some things were a bit obtuse, like finding the powerspots, you have to use the astrology magic every day so the powerspot spawns, unlocking the angel armor which not only requires some backtracking, you don't get the hint about where you have to input the respective dates and the angel armor is weaker than the Guardian Knight Armor anyways.
The gameplay balance also shows that this is an old game. The mag + phys combined skills are better than everything else.
The stoy was also lacking a lot, like there wasn't even any reason besides revenge to defeat the final bosses.
Despite everything, I enjoyed the game. The h-scenes were hot and fun, it blended with the game in itself and you can even see how Laurel changes through the different h-scenes. The gameplay, despite being a bit barebones, it doesn't prolong its stay, allowing you to defeat most enemies in a few turns (as long as you have the correct build) and the only long battles are the few boss battles, most of them from the postgame.
Talking about yhe postgame final boss was hard even at max level (level 30), it requires you to understand the game which, although I said it was a barebones, is still way better than the usual heal and attack from so many h-games from that era. You need to make a build, gather items and learn the boss pattern.
My strategy was using the Guardian knight armor and the books were Trascendent (hp, def, spi and atk buff), anti slash and the phys + ice combined skill (any phys + mag combined skill works). I used 2 black eggs and 2 potia milk (I only had 2 of each).
Anita's ultimate move hits 333 hp and she uses it after her backhand slash or her magic resist + heal buff after 5 or 6 turns without using her ultimate so you have to guard (Laurel takes around 180 damage if she guards).
Also, the hp recovery skills are bugged. Ra Sakyua and Knight Heal does self damage instead of healing, you have to edit the skill to do -200 and -250 damage. If you don't have RPG Maker VX editor, you are in a tough spot.

Oh yeah, I always forgot that defending is an option, I just tried to outheal the damage.
Outhealing was a bit hard for me since I only had 4 Argent Potions (200 hp heal), 2 Potia Milk (full MP restore) and 2 Black Eggs (200 hp and 200 mp heal) for healing so defense was the first thing that came to my mind.
EDIT: Forgot to upload the skill.rvdata that fixes RaSakyua and Knight Heal.

This is probaly just an issue of skill, but I can not for the life of me find where you are supposed to get the information for this puzzle. (Also haven't done the puzzle with the 3 orbs as I assume I need a head for the 4th pedestal? which I'm assuming as something to do with this puzzle in the image)

In the old city bar there's a guy who will give you the answers for it. It says you get them as a note but I didn't see any inventory item for it so you'll have to write them down. (It also means I don't still have them handy to just give them)
There are only three orbs.The fourth pedestal is left blank.

I remember that one being blue unless there's one besides the one off to the left of the entrance. I've definitely collected it if it's that one

Scratch that, I found it. So for context, I was going for a pure run, therefore never got the Dream Orb. Turns out that's necessary for getting the last red flame

Are there any drawbacks to just letting Iris get fucked every night?
I'm kinda coming in with an assumption that maxing out lewdness and training level can't ever be a bad thing, since, despite their issues, even their early games never punished you for it.

It leds to a bad ending.
This is the one game in which you have to protect the girl from getting lewded too much. Is fine with Laurel since she is training to be a Succubus.
If she gets broken before you finish the game that's a bad end. If you don't get the perfect end how much training she has had and how lewd you are both impact the various endings you can get. That said anything short of the breaking point doesn't matter if you get the perfect end.
