I liked your comment, and agree with most of it except:I should mention, I'm not even super hard following this game or upset or anything, I just find the situation interesting.
*snip*
Some Devs are douchebags, and can get by with it.
Or, instead of douchebags, they're pretty petty or can't take a critic (a real critic, constructive and precise, without any trolling intention)... and still can be successful.
Once the game is established, you can be a total jerk, and it'll only make you more popular.
Inno is at that point. If out of the blue, she decides to start being nasty, her followers will laugh and applaud, and more trolls will come looking to pick a fight, which will actually just attract more people.
The thing is, I really doubt she is doing it on purpose.
Or yes, she's doing it. But not because she's a a malevolent machiavelic villain.
Some people simply can't say "no".
Look at earlier posts in her blog, and you'll see that back then, when she was actualy reading adn answering, everything that people asked it was somehow implemented, or she tried.
I think that's what's happening now: somebody says "I want more boring-overdone catgirl stuff"* and she goes with it. Somebody says there aren't enough girly dresses, and she adds more.
She simply can't say "no more extras, I need to move forward".
Also, there's actually a syndrome which I don't recall the name, that basically makes you miss deadlines, times, etc. (no kidding!)
Note how she always expects this and that done in this or that time -probably because she actually can-, but somehow there's always something delaying the thing.
Again, I practically see everything she does as a reflection of what I did in my youth.
(no, I'm not a internet weirdo with some sort of porn/infatuation with her lol.
I really mean it, out of empathy)
