This is a good change, and shows that Inno can do good work if she just wants to.

But of course that change is pretty much the only big improvement in this patch. Some minor side character content, a lube pill which is all right I guess, some changes to the slave management and jobs system that sound good so far, some minor changes I appreciate (icon shows when desired orgasms are reached at a glance instead of having to mouse over it, "risk of pregnancy" modifier removed if at least one of the partners is sterile/infertile, elementals get talents based on their specific elements).

But I wouldn't be satisfied with this little output for a monthly patch if I were a subscriber, not to mention half a year we had to wait for this patch! The people who enable Inno don't get their money's worth out of it, that's for sure. I don't know if I should be grateful to them to keep Inno developing LT at all, or if she would have stepped up if her sycophants stopped paying.

v0.4.10.9
Pusspuss's Artwork ( ):
  • Added Hannah artwork (with pregnant variations, multi-breast variations, and different variations based on whether you're seeing her in the gym or in the bar, Light's Out).
FriendlyAlienFriend's Artwork ( ):
  • Added Natalya artwork (with pregnant and crotch-boob variations, although neither of these extra variations are currently seen in-game).
Engine/Modding:
  • Character sex preference code is now parsed on each call instead of once when initialised, allowing you to make more complex sex preferences.
  • Added 'FITS_BIPEDS' as an item tag to allow clothing to be tagged as only being able to fit bipedal bodies.
  • Added a 'category' element to custom sex actions, allowing you to set which response tab you want your action to be placed into.
  • Added a parser hook for LubricationType, using the prefix 'LUBRICATION_'.
  • Potency values are now correctly applied to the generated attribute when defining 'RESISTANCE_WEAPON' and 'DAMAGE_WEAPON' enchantment values for modded weapons, instead of always being TFPotency.MAJOR_BOOST.
  • Added 'essenceFormat' parsing command which works the same as 'moneyFormat' but for essences.
Gameplay:
  • Re-enabled feral impregnation, with the offspring of ferals now always being the tauric equivalent of the mother (e.g. centaurs for feral horse, driders for feral spider, etc.).
  • Added a small amount of extra content for Yui (the demonic spider-girl in the Farmer's Market in Elis) - after choosing to 'Get dominated' by her, a new action, 'Beg for more', will lead into the new content.
  • After having sex with Callie once, you can now directly give her donations to progress to the next level of her store upgrades.
  • Added a small piece of content for Callie's shop, 'The Creamy Bakey'; if you've completed Natalya's quest, are wearing a filly choker, have performed anilingus on Callie at least once, and have upgraded her shop to the maximum level, then when entering her store you can encounter Natalya in there and have an anilingus-focused threesome.
  • Added a new option, 'Offspring using gender preferences' (accessed via 'Content options'->'Gender preferences'), which allows you to define whether or not you want offspring to use your preferences when determining their gender.
Outfit feature:
  • Added 'Dressing Room' as a new room upgrade in Lilaya's mansion, which can be upgraded with 'Lyssieth's wardrobe', which gives you access to a new outfit feature.
  • You can create, edit, save/load outfit files and then purchase an instance of your created outfit to equip it to yourself or any of your slaves.
  • Outfit files are saved in the 'data/outfits' folder (not to be confused with 'res/outfits', which handles a different type of outfit generation on NPC spawns).
Inventory:
  • Floor tiles now all have unlimited inventory space.
  • All weapons, clothing, and items which have a rarity of 'Quest' are now sorted to always be at the top of the 'Items Present' list.
Clothing:
  • Added 'latex catsuit' clothing item (epic rarity, torso slot, 'latex lover' clothing set, sold by Saellatrix).
  • Added 'latex hood' clothing item (epic rarity, torso slot, 'latex lover' clothing set, sold by Saellatrix).
  • The 'full chastity belt' clothing item now correctly blocks access to the wearer's anus.
  • Slightly updated the 'blazer' clothing image, limited the colours which it can spawn as, and added secondary and tertiary colouring options.
Items:
  • Added 'lube pill' item (lubricates entire body in sex scenes, sold by Ralph).
  • Slightly improved icons for pill items.
Sex:
  • Made some minor improvements to the resisting variations when asking an orgasming partner to pull out.
  • Added a small change to the 'Orgasms' status effect icon and text when the linked character is satisfied from the number of orgasms they've received during the sex scene.
  • When unrestricting control of a submissive partner in sex, if they decide to then immobilise you (via constriction, cocoon, or Witch's Seal), you now retain the ability to modify their permissions and to stop the sex scene.
  • NPCs with a positive desire towards the 'cum stud' fetish no longer always choose to creampie.
Slave management:
  • Non-doll slaves can no longer be assigned the 'statue' job.
  • Added more functionality to the 'Manage people' menu, where if you're in the Job or Permission management screen, a tab appears which allows you to quickly switch between slaves.
  • Added copy & paste buttons to the Job Schedule, Job Settings, and Permissions sections of the slave management UI, allowing you to quickly copy & paste your settings between slaves.
  • Added new 'Lube pills' permission under the 'Sex' permission category, which makes your slave stay on lube pills.
  • Slaves will now consume pills via permission settings twice per day (at midday and midnight), which will be shown in the office's occupancy ledger, instead of having them invisibly applied at the end of every turn.
Other:
  • Characters who are infertile (via the barren trait or menopause) will no longer gain the 'risk of pregnancy' status effect, nor will anyone who receives a creampie from a character with the 'sterile' trait.
  • Elementals which are summoned by an NPC now have perks and spells automatically assigned to them based on their form (i.e. stone elementals will get earth spells/perks, fire elementals will get fire spells/perks, etc.).
  • Slightly altered the randomised colours for imps' clothing and arcanist hats in Submission random encounters.
  • When Yui equips clothing onto you as part of her demonstration scenes, you are now given the associated key to unlock them.
  • The 'Human Spawn Rate' setting (in Content Options -> Furry Preferences) now affects the subspecies of spawned slimes (i.e if your Human Spawn Rate is set to 50%, half of all slimes will have human bodies, 100% and all slimes will have human bodies, etc.).
  • Changed the 'artist priority' setting from a single artist preference to a priority list of all artists, with default ordering based on the number of artworks each artist has in the game (and your preferred artist will be placed at the top when loading into this version).
  • The clothing icons shown the encyclopedia are now displayed based on their appearance when equipped into the associated slot (e.g. the 'electrical tape' will show as two crosses when viewed in the 'nipple' slot section).
  • During bad ends you can now open your inventory to view your clothing (but cannot manipulate it in any way).
  • Added a minor variation to virginity loss text for when Sleip fucks you as a doll.
  • Improved the racial icon for owl-morphs.
Bugs:
  • Typo fixes and some minor scene improvements (Enforcer HQ corridor).
  • Fixed issue where the doll bad end content would break if you'd previously gained 100 obedience during Murk's bad end content.
  • Fixed bug where fetish-altering potions which were forced onto you (either after losing to an NPC in combat or after surrendering to them) would apply random fetish effects instead of the targeted ones which the NPC wanted (which was resulting in a never-ending process of fetishes being forced onto you after combat/surrender).
  • NPCs who are forcing transformations on the player will no longer try to shrink or grow crotch-boobs if the player doesn't have crotch-boobs.
  • Fixed bug where a character's default modifiers for milk, cum, and girlcum would always be restored when loading a game, even if they'd previously transformed them away.
  • Fixed bug where Oglix's elemental, Golix, wouldn't be present during any of her scenes.
  • In the fight vs Silence (which occurs if you defeat Shadow before defeating Silence), her elemental will no longer be duplicated.
  • Fixed bug where resetting your body via the debug menu would unequip all of your piercings.
  • Fixed bug where turning imps into slimes would make their minimum/maximum heights revert to standard values, allowing them to be transformed to normal heights and then reverted to flesh to make them into demons.
  • When accessing a slave's job or permissions via the button within the main slave management UI, the job/permission screen will no longer start partially scrolled down.
  • Fixed bug where most of Yui's scene where she locks the player in chastity was missing.
  • Fixed bug in sex where NPCs would sometimes fail to remove their partner's clothing which was blocking access to the sex area they wanted to interact with.
  • Fixed bug in sex scenes where clothing removals were meant to be restricted, where after changing position the clothing removal restrictions would be lost.
  • Text for a character's ass and anus becoming lubricated in sex scenes will no longer be shown if your anal content setting is turned off.
  • Fixed bug in the occupancy ledger, where filtering slave events by day would sometimes show events that didn't occur during that day (this isn't a retroactive fix, but newly-generated events going forwards will be placed under the correct day within the occupancy ledger).
  • The 'Kiss cheek' action is now correctly disabled while immobilised (to bring it in line with the behaviour of other 'loving' actions).
  • Fixed bug where offspring you enslaved and transformed into dolls would still be affected by incest, therefore
  • Fixed bug where after befriending a randomly-generated NPC, and then enslaving them, they would always use the resisting pace in sex scenes no matter their affection towards you.
  • After betraying an NPC, the 'Continue' action is now coloured red like the other removal ones to make it clear that they're about to be removed from the game.
  • Fixed bug in Nyan's blowjob sex scene, where she could get stuck repeatedly using the 'perform blowjob' sex action, which would make it impossible to end the sex scene.
  • When equipping a clothing item which doesn't get removed on equip (such as the new tape items), any hidden enchantments will now be revealed on the underlying item (e.g. the roll of tape) instead of only on the applied item (e.g. the tape in an inventory slot).
  • The 'Calming suggestion' and 'Lustful suggestion' sex actions are no longer available if the target is sleeping.
  • Fixed bug where the 'Arcane storm (protected)' status effect was only applying to interior locations within Dominion.
  • You no longer earn Faire tickets from using the buyback menu with Fae & Siliva.
  • Stopped background errors from being generated when mousing over an NPC's equipped clothing and weapons while in the buyback menu.
  • Fixed several issues with Vronti's sex scenes: incorrect position slots when performing a handjob; being able to swap into slots which were meant to be blocked; the vaginal sex option not being available after performing anilingus.
  • Fixed bug where if you tried equipping a clothing item which doesn't get removed on equip (such as the new tape items) into a blocked slot, the clothing would be duplicated.
  • Fixed issue where Fae & Silvia's sex scenes would softlock and throw background errors.
  • In the morning oral sex scene with Fae & Silvia (after they sleep over in your room), Silvia no longer starts the sex scene performing cunnilingus if your pussy is blocked.
  • Fixed bug where tooltips would not work for clothing items in the encyclopedia if they were present in more than one section (e.g. the 'electrical tape' item being present within the 'anus' and 'vagina' sections).
  • The bar upgrade in the spa is no longer missing a description in its information tooltip.
  • Fixed bug in sex scenes in which clothing unequipping was meant to be disabled, where you were still able to 'Discard/Drop/Store' the clothing.
  • The two tiles within 'The Creamy Bakey' map are now correctly treated as being indoors, and so characters within it are immune to weather effects.
  • Fixed inventory rendering issues in light mode.
  • Fixed issue where clothing that spawns with the sealing enchantment which costs 5 essences to remove wouldn't stack in the inventory with identical clothing which had had that enchantment removed and then re-added.
  • Fixed bug where sometimes the main content would not scroll back up to the top when a new scene was presented to you.
I thought this was meant to be a big update? It seems like a relatively small-to-medium update that's been edged. For instance as a programmer it reads as:

Engine/Modding:
  • Made checkSexPreference method from existing code, added it to the call loop
  • Added 'FITS_BIPEDS' to the item tags enum, then a 1-2 if-statement looking for the legs type.
  • (Category bullet point I'm not sure, thought that would have been the logical way to do it originally).
  • Added `if Item.name.startswith("LUBRICATION")`to the hook code.
  • (sounds like fixing equations for the weapon bit).
  • Copypaste code for new essenceFormat command.
Gameplay:
  • Probably needed a code re-write for feral impreg, but it seems mostly like it's an extension for normal preg stuff.
  • Yui stuff depends on content, more text I take it.
  • Callie stuff seems reasonable, seems like a fair bit
  • (Confused a bit on the gender stuff, but seems like a 2-layer if-else tree)
Outfit feature:
  • Dressing room feature is nice, most the leg-work is getting a list of the current equipment, saving it to a slot, then when applying, iterating through that list to avoid writing the checks again (eg leg type etc). Very needed though
Inventory:
  • Floor tiles now get set to an absurd number and/or double in size if maximum is reached.
  • Rarity added to the sort function (although it doesn't help the issue that searching is already a pain as when you enchant stuff, it moves it which is more annoying)
Clothing:
  • I think the chastity belt is a mod, maybe the others, but it's just SVGs and flavour text.
Items:
  • Added pill that changes state of lube-able holes
  • Changed parent SVG a bit.
Sex:
  • Seems like text changes and some logical balances, more bugfixes than features.
Slave management:
  • QoL stuff, nothing too big from what it seems though.
Other:
  • Risk of preg stuff is a bugfix.
  • Elementals inherit availableSpells from master.
  • Added randomise function to imps clothes.
  • Yui content.
  • Not sure the best way to explain it but `humanSpawnRate * oldSpawnEquation`
  • Artist bulletpoint is reasonable, it should have been done originally but it's not bad it was done. Basically it sorts the artists, puts your preferred at the top, then when getting the artworks it iterates through the order.
  • The clothing encyclopedia bulletpoint seems a bit pointless, but I'd imagine it's checking the playerCharacter.equipped.nipples then groin etc.
  • Bad ends seems silly, not sure what it does that would be helpful, looks like a "It's a feature! Not a bug!"

Overall this is an update that game companies would put at 1.1, it's got some upgrades (ie the dressing room, maybe floors), but what I mean by 1.1 is that the implication is that the game is "complete", the rest is just stragglers. If I had to guess, this game is on the backburner and will probably get abandoned if not given a token update that just adds trivial bits and bobs rather than system upgrades, new mechanics, or updating "established features", it's just gonna be random tidbits and whatever Inno fancies doing

The reason this game and and say Degrees of Lewdity do so well, is that you get a porn game that has a sex feedback loop, but then you get the entire "immerse yourself with character creation" aspect to make it better.

DoL kind of has the customisation in a headlock because you have scenes and even a character you can witness in your outfit while LT feels more like a hinderance for gameplay (I go commando to save the annoying clicking) and flavour-text outside of it.

LT should have really doubled down on the visuals and customisation. It has a slaves system, it has a colouring system, Inno clearly loves writing and making TONS of variants.

Not sure on SVGs and what they can do, but having base models with modular parts could have made something on-par with DoL's characters and scene stuff, then have some form of stats tracker with slaves and/or partners, apply the same mechanic for them, and it's already doubling down on its market advantage. Not sure how much work it would be for sex scenes with it but that would help since the game has a LOT of options and given the AI tries to do stuff while you set up some sexual-twister situation, it's hard to mentally keep track (trying to get a blowie not realising they are wearing a mask is a classic).

Instead it's a town with the same stuff that's massively out the way, and an upgrade-able shop that I'm not sure does anything substantial

Sometimes I wonder if us gamers( especially goonergamers) do indeed deserve the so called "oppression" and such we joke about, absolutely tragic man.
Only if we claim slug-people like that. And I do not.

They're paying, you're benefiting, why have a constant fit about it? No one here gives a first shit about the financial well being of any of them, and the feigned offense about it is just stupid.

I figure good, other folks are paying for eventual releases and I can go on about my life checking in once a year.

Enough actual shit in the world to be bothered by this is a dumb one to have 200 pages of bitching about.
Part of the fun of Lilith's Throne is bitching about orbiters funding her seemingly sedentary lifestyle and the near-comical update schedule.
Any goodwill to be gleaned from releasing updates for free on what would otherwise be a good time-frame evaporates immediately upon meeting the reality of Inno-Time, provided the observer does not have to cross their eyes to look forward.
Inno's schedule would be fine if the updates were considerable in size and function.
Inno's updates would be fine if they were released on a reasonable time-frame.
We may not be personally, deeply affected by this - financially, emotionally, any way, really - but the way Inno conducts herself and her business is in no way okay, and we are allowed to point that out. We may not be able to goad her into improving, insulated as she is to all but herself, but we can sure as hell take the piss. And so we do.

I just jumped on the game a couple weeks ago, not downloading the updates because the mods do more for me than the update, but it is funny how there were delays, everyone saying it's absurd but also expected of Inno that this happened, betted it would happen again, it did, then when the update came out, it was mostly bugfixes lmfao. Haven't tried the new content but this thread's complaints are more fun by far

Y'all need to experience a stress panic attack once in a while because jesus christ with the severe lack of empathy y'all have, some sympathy might make up for it.

Stress panic attacks cause people to lose all motivation (which is absurd because they can be caused by lack of activity, so it become a self feeding cycle). When i had it for the first time, i couldn't eat, sleep or even fucking masturbate cuz i really didnt feel like doing anything, even fucking existing. All the while my quality of life was fantastic, so it can still happen even if you're financially sorted.

Quit your fucking bitching you out of touch losers.

I've had them before, hell I had them them during a 5 year long depression which made me a husk dead inside and daydreaming about doing certain activities involving a window and a flip.

I get people have them, but Inno just needs to be clean once that they probably have IRL problems, the stress of development and the guilt of 1) running their own business (basically) and 2) obligation to patrons, isn't helping that. Just admitting that and that as a result, development will be sluggish until the environment improves, is perfectly fine and better than what they are doing now, which is intentionally or unintentionally building hype via "big updates" and saying it needs more work.

They're better of just releasing updates as they come, keeping people in the loop, and not setting deadlines until it's done. That last bit is more important because once or twice is fine, even with the same reason, however multiple for the same reason wears off on people.

Plus also it's not the first time the excuse has been abused by developers simply because they abandoned the game but don't want to lose the money (Breeding Farm for example iirc). It probably is genuine since "I built my own engine, made one of the most insanely broad range of species in a porn game, and with mountains of text, only to burn out" sounds exactly like something someone could go through, but the criticism comes due to how its presented, not what it is.

so the blog post is worded like we are supposed to believe the next public release is supposed to be soon, am I the only one reading it this way? I'm less optimistic, and kind of surprised there hasn't been a new build of the new release pushed on the front page yet.

yes yes the gamers don't care about creator health, situation irl, job, etc etc.. all gamers need its fast and big update because if gamers don't get that big fast update its called oppression... and gamers clearly don't even care about pay for the game they always blaming the author for not doing update as they want all author to be slave and work for free because gamers gonna go raging and blaming here and there...

did this game deserve a update? absolutely, did we can ask for a update? yes of course, can we blame the author or the people who paid the game and still support it for doing the so called oppression although its free forum with free game that not even require its member to paid for sign up? no, but yes if you a retarded that never know irl existed and people live there and had something called JOB..

don't really care about complain its ok but to brag about being oppressed or raging over something free its just stupid. go to your walmart then blame or angry to the worker because the free sample was on small portion or they no longer offer free sample and see if they comply to your blame or gonna kick you up

Except developing the game IS Inno's job. A job that they consistently and frequently fail to do while stringing people along with "Yeah I've just been so super stressed because I keep missing my (entirely self-imposed) deadlines that I haven't been able to get any work done, but I'll DEFINITELY meet this one and I totally won't miss it again. Thanks for the money, moron! See you in another six months where I'll say the exact same thing again, and you'll keep paying me to do it anyways!"

Flipping that comparison around, what Inno does is the equivalent of showing up to work regularly and telling her boss that she hasn't done any of the work assigned to her because she finds the fact she hasn't managed to finish any of the work assigned to her super stressful and she's just sooooo stressed out about it that she can't possibly do any of that work- the work she's stressed about not having finished any of.
"I'm sorry, I didn't do anything for the past three months and have just been collecting a paycheck, but I swear it's just a stress thing and I'll definitely start doing some work soon. It just stresses me out so much that the work isn't done yet, that I'm going to continue not doing it until I feel a little better!"

In the real world, she'd be fired. There wouldn't be any faffing about with excuses or justifications, there isn't an employer in the world that'd happily take on an employee that only puts out work once every few months. That's why Patreon/Subscribestar funded developers get all the angst they're shown from their own fans. People are mad because they actually -like- the game. They want it to be real. They want to get hype for every update, and that hype just leads to disappointment when it becomes increasingly clear that Inno is just not going to make this game. Fenoxo and his crew make more progress than Inno- and that guy's the original face of money-milking development cycles.

People with jobs and real lives are some of the most frustrated with Inno because they know that if they tried to feed their boss these same excuses and coast by on minimal work for their pay, they'd be fired in a week. Inno's getting away with it, and her 'employers', the folks feeding her cash monthly to continue development on the game, they're coddling her and letting her get away with it. There's no accountability or responsibility, she just gets money to do whatever she wants for month after month and then make a post every once in a while saying she's so very sad that she's getting paid not to do any work.

People are allowed to resent her for it. They have to work, why doesn't she? They have to earn their pay, why doesn't she? They have to suck it up and do their job regardless of how they feel- so why doesn't she? Because she'll some times dripfeed her supporters bland erotic content once in a while? The market for lewd games is so depressingly low effort because the standards and expectations some perverts have for their games seem to be nonexistent.

(Edit: That's also why the empathy argument tends to bring out so much venom. Inno's being showered in empathy and cash merely for whining on the internet. If any of us, if any of the actual adults in the room, or if any of the people in your day to day life started whining about how hard their life is and how depressed and stressed they are, you'd very quickly start mocking them or lashing out at them for it much as you've just done on this forum. Being so selectively empathetic towards SPECIFICALLY Inno and JUST Inno is what gets people branded as simps. Inno is undeserving of empathy compared to many other people, and yet gets showered in money and positive reinforcement. If I started playing the victim card and going on about how miserable my life makes me, can I expect people like you to start funding me? Or do I need to start writing smutty short stories for folks once every few months to earn that kind of 'empathy'?)

do any of this dev just giving us victim card and show how miserable their life? there is a reason why people like lilith's throne and i think inno personal life never be the reason for people that actually pay for it.. do i want to fund you if you working on smutty short? yes if its had quality and in line with what i like clearly not something that strange this days for that. but back at it do you had quality to actually make people pay for it? or do you only would make it as fast as possible without any consideration? there is many dev with fast update and even new titles here and there but each one of those only copy from previous ones do you really think its better to suck something like that as long as its fast to update?

people frustrated with ino its understandable but dude there is a list on first page to his paid page if you pay go there complained because you PAY FOR IT but this is free forum with free game, if you want to raging like crazy because you pay for it why do that here and not on that page? first reason is afraid inno gonna deleted it (although again if you pay for it and got no respect and refund people will love to help even here) and second reason its you actually not paying anything.. and if you think inno or any dev need to regulary "going to work" or "shown up in front of his boss" its clearly the boss room its not here.

just like i said its ok to complain but to said being oppressed by paying nothing is just stupid since you got nothing to lose anyway

You're missing the point. People don't hate Inno specifically, nobody here knows who Inno is in her day to day life, I have never met them and have seen so little of their actual thoughts and opinions on things that I'd be hard pressed to find anything to say about them beyond gesturing to their lack of content output. Nobody here is 'raging like crazy', nobody is out to make Inno's life as miserable as possible, and I'm not personally saying that Inno needs to get a real job.

People are annoyed with her, and annoyed by the perceived injustice of someone like Inno making money doing nothing all day. They care about this game in particular because they had fun with it, or got hyped for it, and were disappointed by the lack of content and updates over time. They're upset that Inno keeps getting a pass for it, and continues to make money for behavior that would cost the rest of us our jobs, and eventually our homes. It's not fair, and so people gripe about it. It's not rational, and so people make fun of the people that still hand over cash for the lack of product being offered in return. It's not fun to rehash the same old content waiting for an actual update to the game, but it's still on people's minds so they use discussion about it as an outlet, and all those negative feelings end up bubbling up to the surface as cynical humor and exasperated memes.
The comment about oppression that you've been fixated on is a joke about how game studios have been lowering their standards for ages and tossing in more and more exploitative practices like asking folks to pay for lootboxes and subscriptions for games inferior to the ones they made ten years ago. Gamers as a consumer base are constantly getting shafted by the people they want to cheer for, the 'artists' that served up the things they loved years ago. So seeing folks hand over cash for slop brings out frustrated sighs and memes from folks that wish we could put our collective foot down and say, "Hey, I'd actually like to pay for things that are fun instead, please return to producing quality work and we will begin paying for it again."

This is not a targeted campaign to be fought back against, it's just a lot of frustration and the minor relief that comes from complaining about how things have been slipping and finding that you're not alone in feeling that way, so you're not the crazy one.
