Okay. I have Open JDK 15, but trying to run the .jar with that doesn't load anything.I would recommend using Java to avoid early performance issues. The "only" thing you need is a JavaJDK with JavaFX included (preferably jdk1.8)
So what do I need to download to run this then? Thanks for helping, by the way. I'm not totally computer illiterate but this has been kicking my ass.Unfortunately OpenJDK does not include JavaFX. In addition to that JDK15 is too new for the game to work, since it no longer has an essential component (Nashorn).
LT requires a JavaScript engine (Nashorn) that was completely removed from JDK/JRE 15.Okay. I have Open JDK 15, but trying to run the .jar with that doesn't load anything.
extra/jre8-openjdk package instead, and using the JAR.I meant 0.1.8 and damn, it sounds like 0.3.8 was a while ago. I dug a little deeper and it seems like Innoxia doesnt care about the game even though it's her job so why should I? Maybe I'll download it when its complete but I'll most likely forget about it again. Thanks for the answer and godspeed.1.8? As in 0.1.8? Or do you mean 0.3.8?
0.1.8 was a long ass time ago; long enough that there's actually new stuff lol
Pretty sure 0.3.8 was the Nyan fanfic update. There's been fuckall of interest after that unless you like DSG's stuff. And I mean that literally, not as a joke. There's been no new content after that unless you like DSG's stuff.
Its probably broken. Supposed to be in the caves, but I've never once seen it working.
Yes, you can enchant the Slime Quencher item to make your body flesh again.in one savegame my character TF'ed to a slime, is there a way to get rid of this and TF back?
The greatest tragedy is the Lilith's Throne is really the only game of its kind.I meant 0.1.8 and damn, it sounds like 0.3.8 was a while ago. Personally, I care more about "what" than "when". I understand that this game is being developed by a person who is learning to code as she goes and who has made many mistakes early on in the development process that are coming back to haunt her. So delays I can put up with.Dev needs a second person on the devving crew. Preferably one that is absolutely anal about things being done on time. I don't particularly care where the game is going or how long it'll take to complete, only that if you say X and Y will be done in two weeks that they will be done in two weeks.
Exactly. Inno should work on the story as they're the only one who knows the direction it's going. Contributors can work on other things like races, weapons and so forth. As for the delays, this is Inno's job so if someone doesn't do the job in the specified amount of time do they deserve to get paid? So don't give hard promises.Personally, I care more about "what" than "when". What I just can't stand is is Inno working on things other than forward progress of the main story and/or essential bugfixes. At this point, detours are unacceptable. It would be a different story if she'd been steadily working on the main quest all this time, but it's been stalled for nearly two years at this point while Inno has devoted her attention to increasingly irrelevant side content.
Her excuse is going to be something like this:Exactly. Inno should work on the story as they're the only one who knows the direction it's going. Contributors can work on other things like races, weapons and so forth.

'java8-openjfx' is also required for the JavaFx replacement functions. (If using another distro the package names may be slightly different.)LT requires a JavaScript engine (Nashorn) that was completely removed from JDK/JRE 15.
Given the relatively recent version of Java, I assume you're running Arch/Manjaro? If so, try using theextra/jre8-openjdkpackage instead, and using the JAR.
If she makes that excuse I'll laugh sadly since it's so weak. Her excuse is going to be something like this:
"Contributors can work on other things like races, weapons and so forth, but they need a framework of races, weapons and so forth to begin with. And I am the one who make all the framework in the first place. So I will focus on that and neglect the main story development. For like 2 years. And make more frameworks, which is exactly what's gonna be introduced whenever 0.4.1 comes out, during this year or the next. Since I'm the only one who's writing the game code and I refused letting anyone else join the team, no one else can do it officially beside me. I can spend all the time I want doing something I was not supposed to do and it still sounds. And there are simps too."
I'll give it a crack if I have some free time this week. I'm not too familiar with Maven (and the Java build process in general, for that matter), so it'll be a nice learning experience.Has anyone built Sarkath's build and would be willing to post it? I have been trying to and it's just not working for me
You know, I'm already used to stuff like this. Sadly. I haven't even been here for that longIf she makes that excuse I'll laugh sadly since it's so weak.
As I mentioned before, the only way this game will ever be good is when the community inevitably derails the game and makes their own version, eventually making the original dev irrelevant and having them fade away. The worst thing about LT is that at its core it is a really good porn game but its sole developer is a perpetual liar and procrastinator with no self-awareness. The best thing that could happen to this game is that the mod community took over with cliff notes from innoxia about how the story would go.
That might happen, as long as the couple contributors don't get bored. But they're all for working with Inno and only making minimal changes. As I mentioned before, the only way this game will ever be good is when the community inevitably derails the game and makes their own version, eventually making the original dev irrelevant and having them fade away.
Like what happened with Free Cities.
