Update, what do you think the best way to start the game is?
Mine is to take soldier, (double damage first round)
get scientist outfit
get slavers license (5000 money)
go to nyan store sell all excess clothing
go to weapon store buy as many essences as you can
enchant a ring for slavery
go to the space one to the left of home
explore till you fight someone
enslave them
head to slavers alley
retrieve slave ring
sell slave
rinse and repeat till you have enough money to buy 4 bed slave room and more slave rings

I pick either chef or musician (imo those and soldier are the only jobs worth picking) depending on if I want more offense and defense (chef) or longer debuffs (musician). Fights against singlular enemies are over in one turn without soldier anyways, and soldier does nothing turn two+ so once you can maintain the potion effects, with chef you just have a +50 to ALL stats, which helps a lot in multi-boss fights or imp gangs. Musician's kinda funny though, since you can pretty much permastun anything with witch seal (from equipping witch broom), and the upgraded flash and ice shard spells for -6 ap to anything. Even without extended spell effects, alternating between 2 targets with upgraded ice shard twice and flash gives -3 ap, which is what most enemies have, meaning they never get a turn. Extra duration makes the stun last longer, giving you some leeway to cast upgraded soothing waters to heal, restore mana, and potentially res your elemental (at least, I think it can res) if you need it.

Also for your summoned elemental, unequip all abilities you don't want it using. I always take water elemental and just leave ice shard, soothing waters, and give it a broom so it gets witch seal. You can also change its targeting priority in battle to make it take different actions if it tries to heal on turn 1, for example.

I, uh, mostly played on Lillith difficulty, so all of this is way overkill for normal difficulty... but if there's a combat system with any degree of intriguing depth and customization, I WILL break it to the best of my abilities.

Haven't played in half a year, but I'm pretty sure nothing much changed. So, I'd go for these.
As much starter clothes as possible
Soldier
Scientific outfit
Sell clothes
Do all the slave stuff for money
Go to the sewer to change into a slime for free
Get the shotgun
Enchant whatever that slime item is called to turn into a dragon

It's pretty handy to start this way especially if you are playing on the hardest difficulty. Although, I'd stick with slime for a while because the physical block is good enough early on.

My game's a year and a half out of date, but I don't think either of the two updates changed this.

I go for salamander over dragon, the frost/flame salamander gives +75% cold/fire damage and +15% crit power instead of the dragons +20% fire damage. The increased physique from dragon means crit power ends up a bit higher, but the extra physical damage is useless and spells are too under-tuned to make the arcane worth considering.

Yeah, that sounds about right for Lilith's Throne updates. Buncha bullshit, maybe hits a specific kink you may or may not have, mostly just adds a few items or transformations while fixing a tiny bug somewhere. Hopefully it's the bug that ruined your previous wank when enjoying the tiny hit to your specific kink.
Real big content additions are just not a thing worth expecting.

Had to jump through some hoops to get this one working on my macOS. I updated my Java SDK from 8 to 23 (since it was compiled with a newer Java SDK - also the versioning is weird) and downloaded JavaFX (since that's been decoupled from the newer version of Java SDK), as well as modifying `start.sh` to point to the extracted JavaFX (also version 23) with

java --module-path /opt/javafx-sdk-23/lib --add-modules javafx.controls,javafx.fxml,javafx.web -jar ./"Lilith's Throne-0.4.10.3.jar"

The additional add-modules is important to get it working.

Oh it can't be worse than usual...

- Character height is now limited to 200cm during character creation, and the UI for height selection has been slightly improved.
- When changing femininity during character creation, your character's body will slightly adjust to reflect these changes (penis and breast sizes are affected, but can always be changed in the following customisation menus).
- NPCs will no longer spawn with birthdays in the future.
- Fixed bug where you'd get to know what Hammer & Ghost looked like naked when they changed into their civilian and fully-geared-up outfits, even though they didn't strip naked.
- Fixed bug where creampie actions could sometimes result in all sex participants cumming into the targeted character regardless of whether or not they were penetrating them or even if they had a penis (this bug was always encountered when using autofellatio and deepthroating yourself when spectating an ongoing sex scene).
- When in hiding while spectating a sex scene, you can no longer manipulate the participants' clothes or give them items.
- The generic 'trader' occupation is no longer available as a job suggestion to friendly occupants.
- In sex, when a character joins in on an ongoing action (double-blowjob, double-cunnilingus, double-penetration), then any other ongoing actions using the associated sex areas are now correctly stopped. (e.g. Nipple kissing into double blowjob would not stop the ongoing nipple kissing.)
- Fixed bug in sex where starting an ongoing action involving the MOUTH area would not stop any ongoing TONGUE actions, and vice versa.
- A character now needs both a katana and a wakizashi to complete the 'daisho' set bonus. Wielding two katanas or two wakizashis will no longer work.
- Fixed bug in the doll side quest, where if you're a doll, you were able to reset the perk tree and buy perks, and were therefore able to obtain all of the perks which were meant to be disabled during that quest.

i like to take "Teacher".
Spell efficiency is nice, but most importantly my slaves become obedient MUCH faster. Triples obedience gain. they tend to be a bit disobedient after forceful enslavement

- Removed 'tape crosses' as they're now a part of the new 'electrical tape' clothing item. Any existing 'tape crosses' in your save file will be converted into 'electrical tape' when loading into this version.

that's discrimination against everyone above 2m in height... those ppl exist and arent THAT rare anymore...
guess they'll have to save-edit to get their height.

- NPCs with the bondage applier fetish will no longer spawn with enslavement clothing in their inventory (such as the metal collar), as they are not able to enslave others.

there goes the free enslavement collars...
