I've seen this mentioned before and this got me a bit curious: what exactly is considered grotesque in LT? Unless I missed something, inflations don't exactly result in organs being destroyed and guts flying everywhere. This is even mentioned in the disclaimer.

Is this a subjective and very conservative London thing?

Apparently, it has something to do with the code adding too much femininity to all NPCs. Now we just wait for the fix...

Regarding not being able to build, we Linux users are doubly screwed, since Inno's particular method seems to fucking hate OpenJDK.

I primarily use Linux/macOS and do all of my LT development on those platforms without any real issues. The main thing is that you need OpenJDK 14 or below (some distros have already moved past that), and you need to provide your own distribution of

(or update pom.xml and add it to the runtime dependencies to have Maven snag it for you), since Oracle split it off from the mainline JDK/JRE after 8.

Basically, the easiest way to play it on non-Windows platforms at the time being is to grab IDEA, have it download a JDK, and build it yourself. Not exactly ideal.

I'm dreading if she loses her own install and has to port the entire codebase to a much newer version.

The only thing that isn't supported is the JavaScript engine that she uses, Nashorn. That was deprecated in JDK 11 (not long after Oracle declared it to be The New Big Thing, naturally) and removed altogether from JDK 15. I've done some experimenting with alternatives, with SpringEL being the most promising alternative, albeit at the expensive of requiring some minor XML rework.

I also tried GruulJS, and, while that was a simple drop-in replacement, performance was atrocious. I suspect a lot of that has to do with the way LT uses the JS engine more than the interpreter itself, though. I'm planning to revisit that at some point to help futureproof the code a bit.

Well, it's something to be hoped for as well as dreaded. It'd grease the wheels as far as modding goes.

Racial TFs and enchantments. I use enchanted tattoos so that they can't be lost. The perk tree also gives permanent boost to those stats, and working out at the gym will give you perk points to the Physique branch. I think there's a place that will give you Arcane perk points, but I don't know where it is.

There's a switch under Content Options>Gameplay that enables companions. Then it's just a matter of taking them into combat encounters with you.

How many can you take with you? I want to power level some of them.

Eh. Depends on the Mod. There have been a number of arbitrary thread nukes even when the discussion is only like half a step removed and about the things involved around the games, as well as nuking when devs specifically bait posters. They tend to get pretty overzeolus, buuut otoh more then like 80% of the time the average posters are equivocal to your average Youtube comment section. So "Nuke it from orbit--it's the only way to be sure" is, while pretty questionable modding, at least a bit understandable.

Ehhh. "Tame" is pushing it. The Big Three: Loli, Scat, and Gore, are all pretty standard disclaimers of things most commision artists won't do. Although the way things are going, and doubly so if the artist is on Patreon, I could see Incest getting added to it if for no other reason then to cover their asses financially given the escalating crack downs on it.

As for included content, the only real things I see in it that are beyond a pretty strict Catholic level of definition of Vanilla in the Sex And Fetishes section are Armpits, Feet, Gape, Nipple penetration, Urethral penetration, Incest, Rape, "Sadistic" aka rough sex, and Voluntary and Involuntary NTR. None of which is all that out there for most porn tbh.

Also not sure of the validity of the NTR tag. It describes it for Voluntary as offering your companions to have sex with enemies to avoid fights, and Invlountary is enemies being able to chose your companions to have sex with instead of you after losing combat.

However given lack of support going forward for companions it's kinda questionable what the purpose of having those options are outside of activating the again, unsupported, companions.

Inno gonna Inno I guess.

Anyways all that aside can anyone confirm the Save File size has actually been reduced? I remember it being pretty not great last time I played.

You only get one by default, but you can edit the "maxCompanions" value in your save file to get as many as you want. There's dialogue written in some scenes for up to two companions, but you can't get more than one legitimately.

Thanks for the detailed input lol. Yeah, I'm aware "tame" might be pushing it for what's in-game. It's just really amusing that double standards are so heavy on those platforms when it's really just text and not exactly inciting "real violence" heh.

As for your question, not sure if you meant fresh start saves or current saves as both properties.xml and your savefiles will grow bigger (the former from the shared encyclopedia and metadata, the latter from all the redundant data that Inno thought was "unique to the save" being added to the savefile). I haven't actually checked code changes so if she also made variables shorter and less bloated, that's less XML bloat, but still super redundant.

Fresh start saves also seem slightly smaller but unsure if it's from names being smaller (e.g. SOME_HUGE_INNOXIA_THING_THAT_DOES_NOT_NEED_TO_BE_THIS_BIG_AND_APPEARS_ONE_HUNDRED_TIMES_BECAUSE_ENCHANTMENTS_ARE_TOTALLY_COOL to ENCHANT_HP_A) or less uniques.

Try Scarlett Kardos even at max affection. She still resents me for destroying her balls but she should be thankful I can't be arsed to completely revamp the "system" so she can't even look at that field anymore*.

*I still went ahead and removed literally everything that was related to "virility" or "masculinity", but I did not send any pull request, so please don't blame me for females spawning in your male-only world lol

We already have one - Amber. She's one of Zaranix's maids and the first one you meet when you go to his house (assuming you go through the door like normal people and don't just fly over the fence to avoid meeting them). She's an absolute bitch with a dominant streak.
