There's occasional talk about bulk ordering since equipping staff can be annoying but otherwise there isn't really any rng involved. If you don't like the colours, the horse sells dye sticks and knowing enough earth magic even makes that process free.

Just to piggyback on this to point out that clothes can be dyed (and weapons reforged), which Wolfdragon20 may be unaware of.

I for one would gladly take "outfits" over individual clothing items if it meant a better functioning engine with steady progress on the core story. Massive bloat in the variety of 'morphs too.

like six or seven pages back we went from clowning on Inno's shit time management skills to straight-up deep analysing the coding of a single scene and diving into theories on why the mac version struggles with flash. it hurts to figure out, sometimes.This really turned into a discussion about how one should dye clothes.

I don't think it is. IIRC Innoxia added a self-insert at some point but removed it afterwards because it was abused to hell and back and not everyone has the stomach for that sort of thing. The same thing happened with another user who added a wolf-morph girl to the game, the one with plot armor... forgot both the name of the character and creator (I think it was Nnxx?), even though we discussed this a few months back...I still have a crush on Lyssieth.
I heard that was Innoxia's "self-insert." I don't think so. If it is, that's hilarious. Imagine having a crush on Innoxia's fantasy self while being critical of her real self.
I see. Shame. I'd like to be nice to it and show that I do have a soft spot in my heart for her and her work somewhere among my criticism and memes. Bittersweet feeling whenever I try to praise Innoxia for anything, because I don't really feel like she deserves it. But, I have to be fair and say the game stands out from many others, for good or for worse. The sheer amount of modding flexibility is what's keeping me around.
Next week is going to be between xmas and new years. We'll probably get radio silence for two weeks and then a delay announcement after that. Then we'll get a disappointing content update sometime mid January. People will be excited because we'll finally find out what Inno got distracted working on and kept delaying everything for months on end for, only for the content will be pretty meh anyways.
