Thanks for letting me know on this! What happened exactly on it? Was it a slime or a shadow crawler, did they die and leave the resistance window open with you stuck in place? It looks somewhat like the resistance system's end conditions just... didn't trigger, but I'll add it to the bug tracker and try to have it fixed as soon as I can!
On normal or hard difficulty? Hard difficulty is designed to be a fairly challenging experience, while normal is designed to be more casual, while still requiring some movement.
What parts on the fight were too challenging? Are mechanics too fast/rapid? Is it difficult more on character-facing mode or mouse-facing mode? I'm a solo developer without a budget so my only ability to test difficulty is through reports like this. As its developer I know I've built it for too long so I can't be an accurate judge myself.

How is the body menu broken, for example? Is it showing incorrect information or glitching out?
When you enter town, what part of the menu is glitching and how?

Something similar happened to me. I didn't get a screenshot but it was a shadow crawler that put me in the knock down state. I think it may have died, I unfortunately can't remember.
im using the new controls and there are times im throwing the poison flask and the slime are clearly in range of the blast and its not registering, when it does half the time the poison wont damage the slimes (did not get this issue with shadow crawlers) the big slime boss is also super hard, could there be a possibility that once you get grabbed into an H state to get a temp invincibility the AOE's what gets me all the time
other than that keep it up, looking forward for the full release

I tried playing on joiplay emulator on my phone and experienced an fps of literally 3-4. My phone is kinda shit maybe that's why....sad I really liked the art style
Yeah the live2d sets are just resource intensive enough to grind it to a haul on phones I think.
I'm working on compressing and redoing animations to fix lag issues on lower end systems( I tried running it off a flash drive on an old laptop and had similar issues), but I'm not sure I'll be able to hit phone level and still keep or expand the ability to use live2d to animate the character busts and h scenes at runtime.
Perhaps a part of it is the lingering technical debt from HMA(this project is built upon a copy of hmas latest build and there's a lot of ancient jank in it still to iron out)
Now that you said about, i dont know if its on easy or normal. Probably its on normal, but the only thing i found dificult its about the quantity of slimes that the boss spawn, theres time its 4 which is already a bit hard, but theres times where it come 8 of them. ALSO theres an bug of the slime boss where its image disapear for some moments upon taking poison damage.
Wel it was indeed shadow crawler, it hit me and i hit him.. it died and i got stuck there..
using mana burst depletes HP, so died that way to continue the game.
