I tried to play one months ago, I think it was College of Mysteria, and while it wasn't trash, it definitely lacks something to make you interested enough to keep playing. However, once you play one, you already played every other AVN made with AI. It feels as if they were made by the same dev, just like the isekai manga/anime or the zombies videogames genres haha.
It's basically a flashback, what changes are the girls and a few other things. But it's still fun.
the developer hasn't given up on this game, no. I've been in touch with him, and he's incredibly passionate about it. It's just that, like so many peopl, be overwhelmed by life's challenges.
Passion doesn't mean the game will be continued. A better question for him would be - how many renders have you completed? what timeframe do you expect the next release to be? Will you provide monthly or quarterly updates? Etc.
this is my main issue having no time to work on the game fine that is understandable. But at least have some communicationAgain, a year and a half and radio silence from the dev.
