The reason is mostly because the management would get out of hand. Working for Edgar and going into a dungeon are party activities, reading is a single person activity. If Liora can read a book, what do Edgar and Rean do during that time slot? Needing to manage the activities in two timeslots per day seems like it would create a lot of complications while not being particularly fun.

Keep in mind that when you work for Edgar, the other 75% don't go puff into air, it's money added into his pocket that you can get back via negotiations.
That's fair. And I guess the easy solution would be that Edgar works and earns a portion of what we would have if we helped him and Rean can finish any training he's already started. Like reading a book, the moron.

But in the end, as much as I wish we had another action to boost our stats, it's not even remotely a deal breaker.

Though if you *do* add another slot it could also add weight to the increased masturbation time. It could cancel the extra slot of you max it out. Because rn, the increased time doesn't seem to be all that impactful.

Ps. Please add magic pleasure boosting piercings. With kidest regards, me, a horny mf.

I feel like the clauses aren't exactly benefiting Liora. I got that he won't take a deal unless he has a higher value than her, but trying to do something as minor as following up on an attack just sent her value so high that he won't take it. I think the multiplier is way more restrictive. Random enemy just sends you over 300 and while it makes sense for Liora and Rean to have a higher multiplier, x3 and x4 are ridiculous with how it is now because he will never take the deal. Unless the relationship value is determined by how he's willing to bend over backwards, its hard for him to do anything positive.

Also, I'm still trying to figure out how to not get one-shot. Liora can't take any hits so I'm realizing that "if defeated, she will have to wear the outfit" actually shows how it's not a fair trade. If that's the point of the appearance of a fair trade when in practice it isn't, that's on me, but it really feels like he will do the bare minimum if nothing at all and it hinders progress. NTR corruption is one thing, but I'd like to be able to play the game without these extreme restrictions.

You can use his desperation to your advantage, if you don't clear a dungeon in a while he will present a deal every day with double the point value. This lets you snag some good contracts.

Also, you should really be restricting his part to a day a week each time whenever possible. It lets you get way more points out of him. Only accept penalties wholesale if you can't afford a necessary boon otherwise.

Yes I am sure the negotiations being unfair was the point. The point wasn't to have an fair balance system for the game but a way for the villain to manipulate a person to do what they want. At least if you play the game without cheats, Liora and Rean need Edgar's help so Edgar exploit that to get Liora to do what he wants. The trick is making it seem like her choice when it Edgar guiding her. For example enchantments on erotic clothes are much cheaper than normal ones. The end results should be Liora eventually going along with anything Edgar wants without thinking, if this didn't have choice.

These kinds of games are made so if you want to avoid NTR you have to work extra hard. If there was a way to beat the game without cheats then probably NG+ bonuses are the only way. So not beating the game without playing the unfair negotiations was not a bug but a feature of the game.

Ohhhh! So you need to play the waiting game on him. So his reputation actually has a reason in this game. I wouldn't think of doing that because that's cruel to Rean who is dying. I feel like with how slow I'm going anyway, that the desperation kicks in because I suck. :')

I actually got the impression of him being a noble demon or at least one that abides by the contract to a T. If you can find loopholes on either end, it's impressive. It's why he lays out the rules in front of you. Liora is smart enough to realize that it's not her choice given her own desperation.

I do wonder why Liora doesn't write down the information on why she's going along with Edgar. It says verbally, not anything about it being written up unless Rean being unable to read is actually a thing so she couldn't tell him that way.

I think the main issue I have with how the current system is set up is that theres literally nothing to do other than work for Edgar or do the Dungeon, I don't think you even neccesarily need to have management for each character, Rean already trains for 1 hp in the afternoon and Edgar manages his business, if you spend the slot reading a book the characters could just do what they're already doing. Hopefully as the game progresses we'll get more mourning activity opportunities because especially in later days you usually just get into situations where you run into a dungeon, clear 1-2 enemies, and wait until you can get the spell/ability to counter the boss monsters, which just isn't really interesting and gets tedious.

Ironically, the best way to get the best deals is literally to never make any deals with him and wait for him to come to you, which honestly just kinda throws the entire mechanic out the window, definitely feels like if you're the actively involving yourself in the deal it should be more beneficial rather than him giving you a deal after you lose a dungeon/need to treat Rean.

He actually directly states you can't speak or write of the contract in the dialogue. Also he's totally a snake and uses loopholes like a bastard. He doesn't abide by the contract's spirit at all. Contracts are supposed to be made as a sign of trust. But his contracts twist the foundation of trust because it manipulates your thoughts.

Look no further than the "can't resist on a date" contract. If you go on a date with Rean the scum can swoop in and grab you as much as he wants and you can't even think to push him off. You aren't on a date with him. No legal team would support his use of the contract in such a way. As it's clearly being used in bad faith.

Also while "playing the waiting game" it doesn't hurt Rean. You can still work/earn enough from a dungeon to cover a few payments. Or take on a low point contract to cover the treatment. If you are clearing dungeons fast enough that he never gets desperate enough to give you a better deal that just means you are doing well enough you don't need his deals in the first place.

I doubt it would make players happier if I focused on one game.
The main advantage of working on my previous one as well is that each has its own artist and can keep working. The result is that each 1 month of work on my side has 2 month of work from the artist side.

If had worked on Liora only for this release, the game would have had only the character artworks and costumes but 0 CGs for example.

The public demo is very playable. It shows off the main negotiation system, some side quests, and three dungeon areas with bosses. There are also the beginnings of the corruption sex scenes with breast groping and masterbation. The only issue is the public demo limits you to 15 in-game days so it is difficult to see everything.

The roadmap saids the game stages will be divided into the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), early game, mid game, late game, and endings.
  • The demo is the MVP stage.
  • The early stage will introduce enough corruption so Liora could agree to sex and introduce a new dungeon.
  • The mid-game will introduce enough corruption so Liora will start initiate sex on her own and finish up all the dungeons besides the final dungeon.
  • The late game will setup triggers for the endings and break up Liora with Rean so she will accept Edgar. Also the final dungeon will be done.
  • The ending will add endings based on factors like Liora's Lewdness, Rean's Decay and Edgar's Prestige. Also round out any side quests for the final dungeon.
  • Each stage will have 3 updates with 6 months of development for each stage. So there are 24 months of development left therefore the 2027 release date.
No more visual changes has been announced but that does seem likely since we are only at the beginning of corruption.
2027, there goes out the window my plans to off myself the next year. That's how I hyped this demo left me

Does anyone have a walkthrough?
There isn't really anything to walkthrough, yet. There are only 3 fairly linear dungeons and the progression with Edgar is random.

There are no scenes that occur outside of the 2 dates and masturbating. 2 of those are Edgar Deals.

This game is shaping up to be incredible. Nebel Geisterjäger ~ The First Lamb is one of my favorites (gameplay is crazy grindy, but with cheat engine it's amazing), and this game seems like it's got a lot in common. Anyone know of any others similar to these 2?
