The exact same issue. It's not related to the hotfix. I got it without it and with the hotfix. I managed to somehow break the game earlier and skipped the wardrobe issue without the fix and got the same problem way later into the game on the same scene.

After Training her to open more, they talk a bit, then a menu pops up, but none of the options lead anywhere and then the framerate tanks to around 0.
