I feel sorry for the dev after everything that has happened. This game is pretty much dead at this point, it might as well be abandoned and start a new game.

I don't even know how to say this but the entire map file for the JP events has completely deleted itself on my final run through of the patch. I was about 40% through and closed the event page to save the project, it stalled and the little windows loading circle was stuck on my cursor. RPGM crashed and the map file is completely empty. Literally everything is gone. I'm just sitting here bewildered in a cold sweat. I've just tried a system restore from a point made last night at 8pm but it didn't recover the map file. (I don't know if there's another option in how to restore old files, if anyone knows one that might save a life here)

It's actually cursed.

Just this morning I had moved all of the GGPt2 variants into the temp Recollection Room which is still there so I can copy most of that data through but the choices and the structure is all gone. The biggest issue is that the sharing scene hadn't been transferred yet so there's something like 250~ CG worth of writing, formatting, sound and script all gone. I just don't even have words to describe how upset I am rn.

I used to back everything up but I slowly stopped doing it over time because I never ran into issues. My last backup was 24/07/23. I can take the map file from the previously uploaded patch but again the issue lies with losing the entire sharing scene.

My head is throbbing, I feel sick to my stomach, I'm just so done.. On my last coffee break I was just thinking how excited I was to finally get this release out and how I was gonna rest a bit once it was done but fuck that, another curve ball just for fun. It's my own fault for not backing it up but that knowledge doesn't take the sting out.

If you want I can scratch together the GGPt2 scenes from the RR and post them in a few hours but the Hscene won't be ready for a while. Excuse me while I go break something x

R.I.P FOR THOSE WHO'S WAITING THE ENTIRE DAY INCLUDING ME, NOW NO FAST INTERNET TO PLAY GAMES AND NO H-GAME TO BEAT MY MEAT. BEST DAY EVER.

If PG lost the raw save DAZ files then there's nothing but to start all over again... If not then push the release date and release it with all the routes completed... may that be in either March or April...

Don't know about others but I am willing to wait...

So PG, go for a walk, have some hot soup, go get some weed and think... DON'T MAKE ANY DECISION ON EMPTY STOMACH!!!

there are difficulties at this point, but the game still has a lot of potential.

I meant the 250 cg for the Jayce Party that was for the upcoming update... If he still has those then all PG has to do is render, write, move to RPGM and do test run... That's why I said to push the release date and with that, take more time and add the remaining routes to complete the Jayce Party.

Sharon isn't her mom now.Only thing you can define is unrelated Aunt.That's it.Only reason she survived is cause we don't have any good scenes with her except that peeping tom neighbour which is gne also.

Renpy would be awesome, but then he would have to learn a new engine. He can just build up from already existing Renpy version... I am a complete stranger to both RPGM and Renpy... but if there is a way to just continue in Renpy from now on then it would be great... But again, I know nothing about these two engines...

Well this is F95.You will find lots who are Devs and are happy to help.There are people who have made renpy port of RPGM games before.Renpy is the easist and most common among Adult Game Devs.

You kind of lose something with Renpy, I feel like. It feels less like a real world, a real place and more like a series of slide decks.
