Is this one of those games where you can go full on faithfull or full on whore?
The faithful route is on hold for now but I guess it's sort of one of those games? ^_^ Aside from a couple of early sexual encounters everything else is optional <3

Here you go. Saved before going inside of the massage parlor and triggering the scene.
Here's a fix for it mate:

That was so so weird.. the event had already been completed but it was re-running again and even using the event searcher there's only one instance of the trigger in the game. I genuinely have 0 clue how that happened. Was this your save or did it come from somewhere else? I'm just wondering in case it was one of my old saves I used for debugging :p

If you run into anything else let me know, I'm heading to bed in a bit but I'll get back to you asap <3

Why would you hate that scene? You don't hate the scene of Lisa being raped, and she's the protagonist of the story. Or at least, you haven't given any indication of hating Lisa's rape scene. These are fictional events, happening to fictional characters, and part of making us care about them and feel that there are high stakes to the story is putting them in bad situations and allowing bad people to do bad things to them. But you already know that, because you're a good writer.

Just like there's nothing whatsoever wrong with a player being turned on by Lisa's rape scene, so there's nothing wrong with a player (or you, the writer) being turned on by Aoife's rape scene, which was far softer and shorter than Lisa's.
I've mentioned a ton of times that I was really on the fence about including the bar scene at all but that was because I wasn't sure if it really fit the bill back then and I didn't know how people would take it (how little I knew, eh? :p) It isn't the content specifically I dislike but more the character it's happening to I suppose. I think perhaps Lisa's determination to protect and defend Aoife in some way is me speaking through her? ^_^

Thanks for the prompt reply man but i am somehow stuck here eventhough i followed all the steps. By any chance do you have a save file right before the Moddy's Gathering even starts ?
I don't mate but the saves I linked last page I think have all of the checks completed:

https://f95zone.to/threads/lisa-ep-2-ch-2-v1-0-alpha-palegrass.86725/post-7676301

I think it's usually the hot tub that people haven't unlocked, it can be done by trying to go outside to Lisa's pool at home in the morning after having completed the camping trip just in case those saves don't work mate <3

Great game.............
Thanks bro............. <3!

No it wasn't my save. I highly dislike the RPGM engine and had no intention of trying your game again, no offense.

I enjoyed the first release quite a bit, story-wise.

Don't know if it was your save or not, just picked the first I found starting at this update to give it one more try and maybe change my mind. But each time I give RPGM a shot, the more disdain I have for it.

Honestly that is the only thing keeping me from supporting you.

The porn industry, in general, doesn't treat anyone all that well, or all that poorly. However, between men, women, and transsexuals, the people in the industry who receive the worst treatment, overall, are men. I understand that most people wouldn't have any idea about this, since most people don't actually know much about the porn industry and how it works.

As for being seen or treated as a piece of meat to be fucked, that's how all performers in the porn industry are seen and treated, and it shouldn't be surprising to anyone. Could they be treated better? Yes, to a certain degree. Should they be treated better? Yes, insofar as it is practical. Should they be seen as victims? No, not so far as the industry itself is concerned. They may, in some cases, be the victims of the general public, but not of the industry.

I'm still not talking about how we're seen as a piece of meat to be fucked. I'm talking about how we're regularly referred to as things like tranny and shemale just to give a few examples. Those aren't slurs applied to cis women, so why should they be applied to us? Just treat us like women, instead of this dirty secret that requires you to shame us and tear us down, by constantly throwing slurs around. As for the word transsexuals, it isn't really used anymore either. It's outdated, and most trans people prefer to just be called trans men and trans women, although admittedly it isn't something most will be angry about since it isn't uncommon for people to not know that we don't like it. I also wasn't debating who is or isn't treated poorly by the porn industry based on who's seen most as a piece of meat to be fucked. I don't doubt that the men has it no less bad compared to women. What I was complaining about, was as I said the excessive need to tear us down, and make us sub-human. Calling us tranny and shemale, which is happening more often than not, is exactly the same as referring to a black person with the N word. Sure that likely still happens in porn, but no porn studio has that shit in their name, while studios with shemale and tranny in their name are a dime and dozen. *That* was the point I was trying to make.

On the note of the rape scene, it doesn't have to be something the dev likes, for them to add it to the game. Sure some devs like it, but some also just add it because there's a demand for it. So to me, it isn't surprising in the slightest that a dev can dislike the scenes they've done that include rape, regardless of how important the character who it happens to is to the story.

Thanks mate, that worked ( silly old me was going to the bathtub and not the hot tub). I would also like to mention that you do a brilliant job, the way you build up the story is quite remarkable (and ofcourse the animation is phenomenal).

Do either of you have a save near it? Another user told me that bug was fixed and for the life of me I haven't been able to reproduce it, it's a real puzzler this one :( Sorry mates x

This is amazing dude, I can't believe how fast you work!! Added both to the OP brother :))! <333

The Gunnar path is only available to those NOT on the sharing route :)

Have you completed the camping trip? The Hot Tub won't be available until after Lisa returns x

Hehe glad you're enjoying Eglise mate <3 I won't force you into any "let's fuck four people" scenarios, you may choose exactly how Lisa plays her cards when it comes to the sexing of others xD

Troy, huh? My lips are sealed :censored: xD

1: In a nutshell, yes. I wanted some sort of stat when it came to drugs because drugs are and will be a huge part of the game both in story and in options but I see Lisa's deep dive into addiction more whoreish / less care for who or what she does. I think sobriety would almost make the "rougher" situations a lot worse, no? x)

2: Do you mean like a memory of previous text? I could certainly look into it. Aside from not being able to save during cutscenes I think that's RPGM's biggest weakness to Ren'Py. I'll have a look n see if one of the big plugin creators have made anything like this mate :)

3: Yes. Absolutely this. The difference being that Jayce's party offers the player a lot more freedom to do as they please until the final stage which is mostly cutscene and choice based.

4: Moddy is of course involved with Duncan but isn't "Duncan type" there's good in Moddy but like much of the folk that work for the Deloittes he is afraid.

5: Do you mean the two guys from the bus? No they don't have any crossover with Paul, they are side/optional characters that Lisa will see in the club but they can be completely avoided :)

Dude I'm so glad you like the music, it usually takes me ageeeessss to find suitable stuff to use but genuinely really happy you liked it xD

Just fyi the next release is E2Ch2 1.0, Jayce's party won't be until the release AFTER the next one. The camping trip was just too big to finish the rest of the Ch2 in one scoop x)

Much love mate, hope I answered everything ^_^ xo
What is with all the black frames in the renpy version?

I can understand feeling protective of your characters, though it does seem odd to me that you should feel an urge to protect them within the context of your story. It would make more sense to me to be protective of your characters in the sense of wanting to protect them from misunderstanding and misrepresentation by the reader.

But I guess what you're describing really isn't all that unusual. It happened with J.K. Rowling and Hagrid. And the reverse happened with Agatha Christie and Poirot (She wanted to kill him off.). So your desire to protect your character within the story may be more common than I would guess. It's just not something which I've ever experienced.

I have a couple of problems with this line of thinking.

First, there's your insistence that the terms "tranny" and "shemale" are slurs. I would be willing to grant you that there are some people who use those words as slurs, with the intent to offend. But neither term was originally used as a slur, and both terms have been frequently self-applied by transsexuals in the past. For example, popular transsexual porn star Venus Lux often used the term "tranny" to refer to herself and her friends. And it would be very easy to come up with a handful of similar examples. An attempt to insist that these words are always slurs and must always be regarded as such is an attempt, whether intentional or not, to demonize anyone who may use the terms. In some cases, it may be an attempt to claim victim status. In some cases, it may be an attempt to discredit someone who holds a different opinion. In no case is it necessarily correct and must be assumed.

Second, there's your statement that the term "transsexual" is outdated. That's actually not how language works. A technical term within the context of a field of study (historical, medical, etc.) may become outdated when definitions and usages within that field change, but when it comes to daily usage in the general population, a word doesn't really become "outdated" until it has fallen out of usage for a long enough period of time that the word itself, or the previously held definition of the word, is no longer commonly known. And even then, the word is still not outdated for historical works, period pieces, or scholarship.

Now, there are some people who try to make rules for other people about what words they're allowed to say, and what they're allowed to think, and how they're allowed to act and feel. Those people will sometimes use terms like "outdated" or "unacceptable" when they're trying to lay down rules for others. Hopefully, you aren't one of those people. I'm certainly not going to assume that you are. But if you are, then it's probably best to just drop the subject now, because I don't allow other people to make rules for my words, thoughts, or feelings.

Yes, I agree that a developer might include a rape scene for other reasons than personal enjoyment, or even in cases when he or she personally dislikes that content, either because of a popular demand, or because it's important for the progression of the story. But it was already clear from past interactions that this was not the case for PaleGrass. And, since I was talking to this particular developer, I ruled out that assumption from the beginning.

Oh shit, that'll be my accent talking through me again ^_^ we call em lifts over here in Ireland too lol!
You've also sort of "outed" yourself in SubscribeStar posts, saying that you were going to "get stuck in" on the work for the next update. That usage doesn't really appear in the US, but it's pretty common in the UK. I'm only very slightly familiar with Irish slang, so I just assumed that you were English.

Yeah, centuries of colonialism really did a number on the Irish language.

Sorry about that.

A question that maybe doesn't deserve an answer PaleGrass why did you set the game in New York State and not maybe in Ireland? For me that would have been great!

There seems to be a common agreement that VNs have to take place in North America or the UK, as if you would have to pay extra taxes because of Brexit or something.

New York state? I must have missed where that was mentioned. I had just assumed that the fictional city of Renshire was not fixed in any specific real world state, province, or country. Though I do have to wonder if the name was inspired by Renfrewshire, in Scotland.

It would need to be somewhere in the southern States in order to have Mayan ruins within a day's travel by car/bus.

It may not mean anything, but the number plate of Jayce's car (spaceship) :ROFLMAO: gives this clue

the threesome was great I wish it was animated xd

Otherwise I do not know if I am done.

Normally it says end of chapter or episode 2 but there is still some left like the Mod Shop and albiss Advertising. Can I reach exibitionism 3 here to get to the club?

As well as fitness and the bathouse.
