I think PaleGrass not to impose too much rape scene, blackmail, or PLAYER can have choice. (Actual choice I mean), Rather, just like a game called "INSIDE JENNIFER"
Player as Jennifer can have 13 ending to choose, dirty scenes like triple penetration, double penetration etc.
A typical exciting but extremely bad ending as Jennifer break up with boyfriend to be wife-slave to villian cast Jimmy, Jimmy share her with friend and Jenneifer become his baby-making machine (Sex scene of Jennifer with rounded belly is super hot!)
To most girl, this is a BAD ending in extreme!
However, this bad ending is avoidable if Jennifer choose to hide herself from the spot, and even she can report to Police to arrest Jimmy,
PEOPLE will ACCEPT the so-called "RAPE", "BLACKMAIL" only if they have CHOICE
SO, I really suggest IF PalGrass is going to ADD forced sex scene (maybe thinking what's IF NOT option)
take a example, Lisa drink 3 glass of wine in BAR, can she run away from Duncan? Shout for Help?
I bet Lisa ready to have sex with Duncan and black stud, but can she reject to OLD GUY in men toilet?
I BET most player hate FORCED sex for creepy old guy with Lisa who follow them into toilet behind, and show no respect to Lisa, so what if Lisa can have CHOICE?

Choice choice choice.. good 2023 buzzword..
I wonder, if the past unforgettable Hollywood movies.. would be still unforgettable if you give choice to the audience about the content.
Rape scenes should not have a choice otherwise it is not rape...Rape scene is for breaking a vanilla boring scenario..of course you can skip clicking CONTROL...
"Most player hate forced sex in porn"... as result of odd education system in most of the western country, making impossible for nowadays "men" to distinguish reality from fiction.. but anyway.. Scene in the BAR was amazing!!!

Look, this kind of discussion is going to keep happening. The game starts off like it's going to be about hotwifing/cuckoldry/NTR/whatever term you like. Lisa and Danny's conversation after the swim trip makes it seem like it will be some form of sex-positive, even if there will be bumps along the way. I even liked it for the bumps, hard to imagine that sort of lifestyle NOT having some serious issues to tackle.
What it's actually turned into is a game heavily featuring violence against women and non-sex-positive cheating. What's the last sex Lisa had that Danny knows about? Moddy's party? And the only woman in the game without sexual violence as either backstory or onscreen misery is the one that won't appear in any sex scenes? That's pretty significant.
Like I said, this will keep happening. People start playing this game, think it's going to be one thing, then run into the misogyny at every turn. They're going to keep coming here to say "Hey, what the fuck?"
Misogyny is, in fact, the primary focus of the game. Add up the women with sexual violence in their story arcs and the ones without. Add up the rapists, rapist accomplices, and molesters. Factor in the forthcoming drug whore story line (based on the famous drugs of addiction marijuana and MDMA, lol). This game is about punishing women.
That is what it is. Like I said in my review, it's not my place to judge someone else's kink. Filtering out the rape tag eliminates an enormous percentage of the games on this site. It's the shift from where this game starts to where it's now gone that's going to keep this thread having the same arguments for the next 15 years.
I really hate how disconnected the sex scenes are from the narrative, during story Lisa is shy and inexperienced, but durning sex she is a sex addicted dirty talking whore, it doesn't feel right.

Honestly that's one of the things I like. It fits the storytelling of a girl who buys society's narrative of what constitutes a "good girl" discovering that she really loves sex and being sexual. It was one of the things I thought could lend to a really good journey. Like, she'd come to realize out of bed that the way she was in bed was the reflection of who she really wanted to be, not the chaste stereotype she was trying to be for other people.

Errr, she isn't inexperienced. In-fact it's written a lot of times that she is very sexually active with Danny. However, just like a lot of folks in real life, she doesn't project her "behind the bedroom door" persona openly in front of others. Evidence why she is very uncomfortable talking about sex with her Aunt but is very aware and curious at the same time.
I am not a fan of rape or violence either but I had no issues playing as the extreme content was completely choice based and easily avoidable. Kinda weird making an opinion based on opinions being written by a bunch of strangers on the internet, no?

If you've played any of the releases within the past six months, you should have seen the title screen with the ominous music and the dark and rainy setting, with superimposed images of Lisa and other characters looking worried or frightened. That title screen immediately clues the player in as to what lies in store for them.
I'll grant you that the previous title screen, used for the first year that the game was in development, had cheerful music, a bright and sunny setting, and cheerful character images superimposed. And I'll grant you that the story does start out on a lighter note. But, even early in the story, there are obvious hints that rougher waters lie ahead. There are multiple hints to the player that a mobster and his violent crime syndicate are going to play a major part in the story. And both in his posts to his supporters on Patreon and SubscribeStar, and in his posts here on this forum, PaleGrass has been open from the beginning that this story was going to get darker as it went along.
Even when the game had a bright and cheerful title screen, anyone who went into the game thinking that it was going to be smooth sailing was just ignoring the warnings all around them. And since the title screen has been updated (which has been half a year, now), there's just no way that new players are starting this game and not realizing that it has a dark edge to the story.
As for your question about when Lisa last had sex with Danny's knowledge, that was entirely up to you, so I can't answer it. When was the last time that you chose for Lisa to have sex without Danny's knowledge? The player has the option in this game to cheat or not cheat. If Lisa in your game has been cheating, you chose for that to happen.

Misogyny is not the primary focus of this game, and the game is not about punishing women. The game is about a girl who just wanted to live a happy life, but who got caught up with dangerous people and violent events. The focus of the game is Lisa's story. A good story has conflict. It has obstacles, trials, and tribulations for the protagonist. The protagonist goes on a journey, often involving pain and suffering, but ending (we hope) with an ultimate triumph and a good resolution for those who deserve it.
Lisa wants a "happily ever after", but she's going to have to suffer before she gets it. And that's not misogyny. That's good writing. Some of the characters she encounters in her story may be misogynists, but their actions are not the primary focus of the story. They are simply part of the conflict in the story. They are plot devices which will push Lisa and put her (and other characters) to the test. But she will stand up to that test, and will come out on top. And the players who followed that story to the end will cheer for her, and the players who left along the way will hopefully find some other story which they enjoy more.

She didn't even know what a glory hole is at the beginning, you don't just casually start talking dirty, you can't convince me she was experienced from that start.

She wasn't experienced but what I think OP is saying is that her true nature is being this more sexual and that her good girl persona is sort of her fooling others aswell as herself. The game definetly takes some liberities early on in terms of dialogue during sex scenes, but its not like its the craziest thing for her to have a lot of repressed feelings that burst out in the form of dirty talk. Its not like during the scenes she is making refrence to stuff she'd have no idea aboutt like glory holes.
you guys need to get out more, meet some girls. It may surprise you what an "inexperienced girl" can be capable of if the right buttons are pushed at the right time.
PaleGrass I must say I like your game very much. I like the Paul forced Storyline and I hope the get more content with this little brat George. Is something planned in this way? Or is there a possibility for a new Job line, where Lisa will be a babysitter for another brat?
The Old Neighbor needs also a bit help from Lisa.
George and Mick (the old guy at the bus stop) were added as placeholders for potential content later though George's content would only be added as a sort of DLC. Both are uncertain as of right now
George is less of a brat than it's perhaps eluded (is this the right term? xD) to so far, he's just young and a bit excitable where Mick's content is another particularly depressing story. What's new, eh? ^_^
a quick question/suggestion and to the rest of the people in the forum,i been having second thoughts on the game regarding the female POV in sexual situations or so!i dont know how many people can resonate with this ,if it does hope we would have a valid point to be noted!
i know that the sex scenes are great and well crafted ,but i feel that there is a lack of female touch in it IMO,i know palegrass is really good in building up the scenes and the foreplay stuffs, but i do feel there is a more emphasis on male POV RELATED SEX STUFFS/dialogues focused on female beauty ...but i feel there is lack of the female touch being that the story is told in the female perspective and where she is the protagonist!
i know guys really tend towards to visual perception and keep emphasising on the physical attributes ,but i doubt whether its similar from female pov, like how guys really prefer sexy butt of a woman,
do girls really a like well toned man and his strong, powerful eyes!?
or probably how the man smells?,i do think woman notice these subtle things!i hope incorporating these subtle nuances will add more depth to the character and to the story since its protagonist is a female and would be great to know how female characters look or lust a man and have fun incorporating both the POV's(Male & Female) for the sex scenes
I don't disagree at all but there's only one problem; I'm a dude ^_^
I often write and rewrite every scene in the game several times over to try make it flow as best I can without it sounding too cringe. I really second guess a lot of Lisa's inner monologue's especially during sexual content because it often feels so repetitive mentioning the same things so the dialogues between the characters involved takes over which I usually think run quite well and feel real to me at least but I could try to add more of the inner monologues in
No one doubted your willingness and diligence, but I think you made some bad choices, as far as the productivity of the game is concerned. I know very well that it is now easy for me to judge or pass judgement. Breaking the party into many small fractions (4-5 I don't remember) if then between one fraction and the next 3 months go by and people can't remember where they got to and what to stop for after only 20 min of play? And wait another 2/3 months. I personally would have split it in 2 like you did for the other big scenes, so that you had more control over your production and could make more accurate predictions. You waste less time doing CG, Rpg and the script 2 times than you keep alternating it for 4-5.
I agree with you Geko, I've said the same thing on here and in update posts recently about how I won't be releasing any more small patches even when the pressure's high because it's so counter-productive and only serves to irritate the players while simultaneously sending my nerves into overdrive lol!
I mean Lisa can lose control of her inhibitions in the throes of passion for sure but the character will never devolve into someone without purpose or reason. I suppose it depends on what you mean though. If you play the game and opt into every sexual encounter available would that deem Lisa a mindless slut? I don't personally think so. I see Lisa and I try to write Lisa as a real person, someone I know inside and out and if I think there isn't enough weight behind Lisa having sex with someone then Lisa won't be having sex with that person ^_^
Bottom line is that I absolutely love the character Lisa, I want to do her justice at the very least
Lol come on man she gets blackmailed then sexually assaulted. And just goes on her with day. Next time she see him shes like i hate him what an asshole.. like bruh. And when she gets raped and gangbanged, she is able to remain composed enough to pretend nothing happened to her friend? If you think these reactions are not unrealistic, you are wayy too deep in the porn
This is just the nature of it being a choice based game, you'd be absolutely right in what you're saying if it were a kinetic novel or something but the unbelievable scope of alternate dialogues for every conceivable route in every conceivable order is just way too much for a solo developer of a game with as many routes as this especially given that this route in particular isn't even mandatory, it's completely optional ^_^
I mean, she's apparently on her way to becoming a drug-addicted whore based on one use of weed and one use of MDMA, so realism isn't really a priority for Lisa's reactions to things. "Way too deep in the porn" is her Myers-Briggs personality type.
PG's going to have to invent a magical mind control object to explain her emotional responses the way the dude writing "The Office Wife" did.
If you're talking about the addiction idea, I talked a bit about it recently where I can't think of a better term for "addiction" because it's not actually addiction, it's more just Bobby's route in particular that the continued drug use opens up as he's the local dealer she "knows" now.
As for magical mind control objects; that's a solid no from me lol x) there are no fantastical elements in Lisa, maybe in the next game though ^_^
Danny's Sharing/Hw route is only one route in the game, it hasn't had any updates in a while but neither have so many others. There's just a lot of routes ^_^
Next update has Danny Sharing content but no Paul content again, that doesn't mean that the game is steering away from such content; it's just on the conveyor belt in a queue.
That and Danny isn't strictly a main character in the game, he has a fair amount of screen time early but I've mentioned before that it diminishes as the game progresses whether they are together or not (it's also talked about between the two when the distance happens, obviously I can't spoil why but Lisa's preoccupied in the later stages). He will continue to be in Sharing / Cuckolding content but after Lisa graduates the game shifts quite a lot
As for non-sex-positive cheating I'm not sure what that means. I think Byron's scenes were pretty sex positive as Lisa is enamored with the guy, the mood I felt was very upbeat even to the degree that Lisa wanted him to stay with her and they were basically the last scenes I worked on prior to the party ^_^ I might be misinterpreting what you meant, please don't think me ignorant if you meant something completely different mate :x
I don't see it that way at all mate and I'm sad that the game comes across that way, yes there's quite a few nasty characters in the game but it's primary driver isn't by any means wishing harm on women. I'm just trying to write a compelling story with some pretty serious real world topics. I've always been a fan of "Utsuge" which basically means "depressing game" then later I started enjoying female protag games so Lisa is basically a mix of things I enjoy. Writing an "utsuge" inspired porn game with a female lead I think leans quite heavily into the plotlines I've written so I might be a little unoriginal but I also had no idea what I was doing when I started this game ^_^ I know some of the darker scenes are really dark but that's just me trying to implement things realistically.
Of course I have the advantage of a script for the game but I see the game as more of a testament to how powerful a girl can become when she and those close to her are faced with incredibly dire situations. I hope that over time players take several moments throughout the game to admire how much she grows and how much she sacrifices. It's a heroine's tale for certain! (at least in my eyes but I might be a little biased! xd)
I was actually interested so I listed the characters below and whether they have been / will be victims of sexual abuse OR have instigated sexual abuse / will instigate sexual abuse.
I've probably made a mistake somewhere in that list but I don't think it's really indicative of the "woman hating". Again I'm gonna be a broken record for a second but I think it's just the order in which the game's been updated more than anything that's made people feel this way. When JP is finished and we start back into Lisa's credit quests I imagine this topic will be put to rest for a while
I don't know if I've misspoken about the drug route in the recent past, it's probably changed a lot since I first talked about it during the Camping Trip releases (I honestly can't remember what my original idea was but it always centered around Bobby at the very least) but there is no "drug-whore" route. Repeated drug use is basically Bobby's route.
Addiction as the variable title isn't a mainstay, I just don't know what else to call it right now. I'm well aware that MDMA isn't physically addictive given that I spent half a decade taking it on a weekly basis - I sure do miss it sometimes though.. x)
Bobby was first mentioned on the Camping Trip whilst the group were by the waterfall (basically where "addiction" is first mentioned), it was around that time his character was written into the story and his reveal was always gonna be the party. I actually introduced him at the Kwang-Ho during one of the eavesdropping events so if you haven't been there yet, there are some interesting conversations! Anyway after Jayce's party Lisa can goto Neon and after a couple visits she can choose to buy some ecstasy from Bobby beforehand - keep doing this and Lisa and Bobby become closer (sort of)
I really hate how disconnected the sex scenes are from the narrative, during story Lisa is shy and inexperienced, but durning sex she is a sex addicted dirty talking whore, it doesn't feel right.
I've seen this mentioned a few times and I'm not totally sure why. When I was in my teens I dated an incredibly shy girl, she was so, so sweet and so innocent, she had attended a strict all girl catholic school her entire life and had never had a boyfriend but when we became sexually active, she came alive much like Lisa (this and one other partner is where a lot of Lisa's inspiration comes from )
It's also hinted in the first 20minutes of the game that Lisa watches a lot of porn (gangbang porn at that) and she's sexually active with a long term boyfriend so the dirty talk shouldn't come as too much of a surprise.
Some of the early scenes in the game are probably rough around the edges in terms of narrative, I've definitely improved my writing as time's went on and I will eventually go back and revise a lot of the early stuff like the swim trip ^_^
Honestly that's one of the things I like. It fits the storytelling of a girl who buys society's narrative of what constitutes a "good girl" discovering that she really loves sex and being sexual.
I almost want to use this as the blurb for the game lol!
I was trying so hard to put something like this into words but as always you do an impeccable job in my stead Lecher ^_^!

Phew, long reply but hello gang ^_^
Feels like things are a little heated in this thread today or is it just me? lol
Thank God it's only Monday, I'm just finishing up one of Danny Stays routes which in total in nearly 200cg when all alternates are included. It's getting so warm here where I live, last week I had my central heating on and now I'm debating getting the fan out of the attic lol!
