Hi everyone, I'm just replying to the last two pages here so I'm sorry if I missed you. Given the recent development I just wanted to pop in a give my two cents x
There are certainly things worth fighting for in life but this doesn't feel terribly high up the priority list x
I hope this doesn't come across as rude because that's genuinely not my intention here.
For anyone unsure; where I live it is illegal to produce pornographic content depicting non-consensual sex. This is why Paul & Duncan's routes are being removed.
It's a horrible situation and I hate not having a winning path out but like you say; I have to play it safe.
I've received a lot a really lovely messages offering me condolences for the loss of time spent where that really isn't my concern. It's the thought of letting those that have followed me for a long time down that is the greater burden x
Again, I don't fully understand the reason for these laws. It's almost like banning violent video games because "the law" thinks they cause people to become violent.
-Mega banned my account and forwarded my details to the authorities
-I read the laws and realized the content I've been producing is illegal in my country
-Paul & Duncan's sexual content is being removed from the game

Sorry if you were a page before 386 and I didn't respond. It's a crap post and a crappy situation. I dunno how best to convey my apology to anyone and everyone who played Lisa for the cut style of content. It really wasn't an easy decision nor was it one I wanted to make but I hope you can understand that I can't risk a criminal conviction for a porn game even if the chance is slim x

The only content that's being cut is sexual content with Paul & Duncan. Everything else will remain the same x
I won't continue producing any content with Paul or sexual content with Duncan even under the guise of another releasing it xBecause it is the way it is.
In fact, I still don’t quite understand what he is talking about (the one that talking about law and responsibility). At the moment there is a lot of content, that is many times "darker" than such story from “moral” point of view and content lives in free access and no one doing anything with that... hmm now it's making more sense, but still kind of unsure.
Still, I think your "patch" idea looks workable, but let's say it's not patch, but just "unofficial mod by some other artist" (who made it for his own pleasure, and not out of desire to get money from it), go then prove it's not true
ps. To be honest, I'm upset in first place precisely because I was really interested in how author was going to shape continuation of these routes while maintaining balance I mentioned earlier.

It's legal in the USA, apparently some have tried over the years to criminalize it but the first amendment has reigned victorious thus far. It's illegal to produce anything that could be deemed pornographic in this nature in the UK. I read extensively into it after Mega tossed my details to the "authorities."

I don't know what inspired the change in the law but it was amended in 2015; I was just ignorant to it until recently x

Well in another world I never got reported to Mega and instead have a squad car outside my house. It might well have been a blessing in disguise, who knows x
I considered this but there's an event in the canon story that sort of disables this. Lisa doesn't live with Sharon for the entire game and I feel the ground work for a situation like this to become plausible would take too long and there just isn't enough time x

I feel the same mate xMost people on the planet have those dark, rough, and kinky fantasies. Everyone needs that type of release once in a while, and that can be exercised through the medium of fiction. This political correctness crap is literally ruining the freedom for artistic creativity.

Sadly I don't have any ideas on how to redevelop Paul and that's why he's actually being removed from the game entirely. There's no world in which Lisa has sexual relations with him consensually so there isn't any point in him staying. Duncan is a mainstay and will see some amount of screen time in the latter half of the game but he won't be involved in any sexual content so the game will play out as if the player simply opted out of his route x
Yeah, I'm sorry mate. To everyone I really am sorry. I hate this whole situation, it's really, really shit.

Aw no man there will still be updates, I'm fixing old CGs and dialogues atm to represent Paul's absence but to be honest I'm really all over the place. It's wild how much this whole situation has fucked with my head.
