Resident Post: Sharon Content PLAYABLE! Onto Exhib! GETTING THERE!! ^_^!

I'm actually gonna be sad when I'm not working on Sharon stuff again for a while, I've really loved it :')
Progress on Sharon's content:
I was working on the "big" Sharon scene again over the weekend but that was really the only time that I've opened Daz in the past week. I spent the rest of the time eventing all of the home content in RPGM. Currently Sharon's content is fully playable from start to finish including all of the night content. (This isn't including the final scene or the neighbor scenes as one is incomplete and the other is under the Exhib branch of the patch).
There's also a fully functional new journal entry guiding you through it with a stacking variable to make sure you don't miss anything so it's great having all of that done. I do want to make some edits to a few of the CGs and some of the music needs changed but all in all I'm super happy with the result and relieved to have that section mostly out of the way.
The whole arc of Sharon's content should hopefully feel quite fun, it's meant to show Sharon's influence really rubbing off on Lisa and the two of them getting closer over a period of time. Lisa adopting Sharon's tendencies and even using them against her in some circumstances eventually leading to a bombshell event by the end lol ^_^
The scenes I like the best are probably the night stuff, the events during the day are great but they're like a prelude to the occurrences at night.
The scenes I like the least in Sharon's content so far are actually the movie night sequences. When I was making them I was
convinced that they were awesome, I genuinely loved them but now I feel like they're kinda ehh.. I dunno, maybe I'll touch up the writing a bit more but they haven't landed with me as much as I'd hoped they would when I play tested it. Anyway it's too late to change it now but I'll be eager to hear all of your opinions on them when 3.2 is uploaded.
There're a few of these spying events, you'll have to unlock them all to proceed in Sharon's route

How do you guys feel about some of Sharon's content being locked behind a low/mid Exhibitionism level?
I hadn't planned on the two being directly linked (there is
one scene in which a certain Exhib level is required to view all of the content) but I am considering now that it might flow better both as a patch but also narratively for the future if at least some of it is tied together. The game sort of starts with Sharon prodding Lisa about exposure and Sharon herself would be considered an Exhibitionist so as I'm piecing everything together, I personally think that it's a good idea.
There are also scenes with the neighbor which do include Sharon but are actually part of the Exhibitionism series and I think it might be nice to glue the two together for this.
Thoughts going into eventing Exhibitionism:
With Sharon's content mostly wrapped up, I'll be moving onto the bulk of the Exhib events.
There are a lot of CGs in this patch, a lot more than I expected (I thought I could probably get away with 350-400CGs but it's gonna be nearly double that - my render folder has over 1400 images rendered in this development cycle though a substantial amount of these are for composites).One of the first Exhib events you'll find but you won't be able to access this one straight away! ^_^
I don't want this section of the patch to feel like a slog to get through. I have touched on this before but just to reiterate; I am coming at this patch with a somewhat different design perspective in that I want it to go quite quickly. I don't want you guys to feel like ramping up Lisa's Exhibitionism is a chore so I'm trying to make the content in a manner that flows fast and in abundance. This might backfire and end up feeling a little rushed or something but know that I am trying to strike a good balance that beckons some sense of excitement when exploring bothLisa's house and the districts in Renshire. I'm claiming that I want it to go quickly but I expect this patch will take quite a while to see all content even with this speedy delivery style of game architecture.
I'm just concerned about the possibility of fatigue as it plays given the fact that there are gonna be more individual events in this patch than probably any other patch since Episode 1 but most of these events are fairly similar to one another given that they're all linked to exposure. I just hope it works out well, only time will tell ^_^
I have mapped out most locations and set up the base nodes for the Exhib events and all of the currently rendered images for Exhibitionism are game ready, they're fully comped and edited but I wholly expect that I'll be adding more as I go. I want some of these events to have multiple returns with perhaps 1-2CGs as a little in-between for the larger scenes, I just don't know which events yet. I'm gonna work on implementing every CG that I have first, play through it and feel things out.
This new Sharon/Bath sprite is actually animated, can I claim an animation tag now? xD
Daz 2025 (6.25) so far:
The new version of Daz has had a couple of updates since initial public launch and it's been steadily getting better. The viewport lag is still present but it's a
lot better than it was on first release.
It's jarring that I can now click render on basically
any scene and it simply works. I have
so much freedom in creating complex sets with multiple characters nowadays that I'm almost at a loss with the potential. Not
once have I hit the limit of my vram which is completely alien to my workflow, in the best possible way. It's amazing! I've read that some people have experienced crashes in the alpha but thankfully, I've been smooth sailing.
I was worried for a while that this update for Daz wouldn't be released at all this year and that would've
REALLY hurt the development of Lisa so just having a seemingly stable version of it available is such a mammoth weight off my mind.
After 3.2 I return to Jayce's Party to finally finish it and with the new GPU in hand, I'm genuinely stoked to see the difference. The first thing I'm gonna try is to render a frame with
every character at the party in it to see how my GPU fares xD
I don't think it'll be able to do it but I will absolutely be reporting my findings when the time comes lol!
