The Website & the Members area:

I wish I had the words to explain just how much work it is to get this whole thing running. It's madness. It makes me wonder why they aren't more sites dedicated to membership platforms out there because doing it alone is a nightmare.
When I built the SquareSpace website (the one that's I posted last week), I thought this isn't too bad. It's intuitive. It's easy to make things look good. A nice grid system that makes it user friendly. Everything just works like you'd expect.
But I can't use it to host memberships for the game because my game has pornographic content. This means I need to use a payment processor that accepts more "risk." This isn't risk to you guys, it's business risk in that pornography inherently holds more risk than say painted art or music or something.
Square only hosts a payment processor called Stripe which outrightly states that it won't process payments for pornography. It couldn't be more clear. Therefore I need a
second hosted site that can be integrated with an adult friendly payment processor. It can be placed in a sub domain of the public site but it can't be hosted there.
So I had to build another site as a sub domain of palegrass.com (this took me a day to figure out) on a program called Wordpress which is kind of like this big open source playground in which people build websites. It's got a bazillion plugins and features and it seems to be industry standrard however the UI is perhaps the most unintuitive thing on planet Earth and literally nothing works how you'd expect it to. That and it requires two different programming languages to get anything real done being JS and CSS so already I'm sinking in the open sea. On the other hand.. You do have much more freedom in wordpress. If you were a real whiz with web design, I bet they could throw together an amazing site in a matter of hours. But it isn't user friendly for a newbie at all.

The members website is online but you can only peruse the login screen for now. If you select the "lost password" button you'll see what the default PMPro theme actually looks like as I haven't styled that page yet.
The main site "members login" button will redirect you there though creating accounts is not yet ready. Basically the system will be the exact same as SubStar or Patreon. New posts appear at the top and push the older posts down. You'll need to click on the posts to actually view them which will apply a short fade and open the post - this is to forego any potential lag as hundreds of posts are added and I can't really assure stability like SubStar without doing it this way.
The actual billing will be handled by a company called CCBill. It'll be available all over the world and in almost every major global currency including Bitcoin (though bitcoin cannot be refunded apparently so I'm just forewarning of that). I never see any of your details, that's all handled by CCBill. You make an account on the site with your e-mail, click whatever tier you want (you can be a Free Member too) which then connects to them, they send me a "token" confirming that action has taken place, you log in, the website remembers you and redirects past the login screen, etc, etc. It should feel like a proper business website and not built by some eejit in Ireland knocking stones together until a website appeared.
Your login details are encrypted and held with a second company called PM Pro which is just a membership system that I embed into the site so if you lose your password, you'll reset it through them. I don't have access to any of this.
I'm not leaving SubStar if anyone's curious and I don't even urge you to jump ship or anything like that. The fees that I'm charged by CCBill are basically the exact same as SubStar so if you're concerned about me; it really doesn't matter to me where you are. If you like it here, then that's amazing. I like it here too. I just want to offer the same options to those in Countries that can't access SubStar easily. This was initially why I set up the Boosty account but that ended up being more trouble than it was worth even before I was permanently banned.
What I have seen is that SubStar advertise OAuth links to other websites which could mean that by subbing here, I can, in theory open a link that will grant you access to my website's member area too. There'll be no difference in content or anything like that, it's just a cool feature in case you wanted some eerie graphics along with your update posts lol
Having the freedom to do whatever I want is actually a really fun prospect or it would be if I had a clue what I was doing with wordpress ^_^
I just hope that at least one person uses it. It's cost me a small fortune to get things in place xD
The website is currently functional on the public facing side.
The members side
IS actually functional too though with much less precision because it takes a lot more to get that side thematically matched but memberships
can be created and used to login and see anything I place there, I just haven't activated it yet.
I can make posts that are restricted to tiers, it's all pleasantly animated. Your accounts will remain even after subscription ends and you can continue to login as a free member, etc. This might seem like trivial stuff but it's a real headache figuring out how to achieve all of this and will require a fair bit of testing just to make sure that no bugs pop up with different links on obscure pages like "confirmation" pages or whatever.
There's a comments section under every post that displays your chosen username and timestamps, you can reply to individual replies or generally to the post itself - I've basically tried to mirror SubStar's format for just about everything.
This website will be an ongoing project with improvements added frequently. When I upload a change, there's no delay to it hitting the servers. It's basically instant which is very nice.
Even the public website will see improvements because I selected a basic package with SquareSpace which actually disables code injection so I can't currently add custom animations to the public website which I'm very displeased with so I will be upgrading that and adding a lot more flair and polish to both the front side and the members area over time.
When I get the members area a little closer to finalization, I'll make it all public so you can have a better look through it and give me feedback (if you want! ^_^) before the billing side of things is added. Things might look a little barebones but that's just because virtually the entire site is built via custom CSS which is alien to me. There are tons of paid plugins that could add much cleaner and easier to work with features but I'm just gonna see how it fares for a few months before I sink anymore money into it.
Anyway it'll be up and running with full functionality soon-ish I hope. It does seem strange that a solo dev has built an entire website to house a payment structure to fund what's essentially a porn game. I've been thinking about the optics of that which is why I mentioned all of the security related stuff. I just want everyone to know that your security is my primary focus here.
If anyone wants to know more about any of the systems I'm using, you can look them up yourself or ask GPT / Grok / LLM of your choice to audit them.

This is basically just to keep things aligned with my website. The Members area of the site will be locked behind a login, this can be setup for free or with the same tiers found here on SubStar. This is entirely for OSA (legal) purposes, I just don't want to leave any gaps. If you don't want to make an account there to view public posts, that's absolutely no problem. They'll always be available here too but if I can link the two websites together then keeping the tiers consistent between both is a must.

Detective Dan - Two scenes total here. One is a "main" event that's mandatory for progression and the other will be optional for those seeking a Lisa & Dan romance. Neither of these scenes are particularly explosive. It's really Dan's first introduction as a character in his own right. Up until this point the focus has been on other situations and Dan's simply been a part of those situations. This time the focus is actually on Dan. I'm a
huge fan of Dan as a character so I hope I can portray him well to all of you.
Mod Shop New Outfit - This will be fairly short but it'll be joined with the MS Danny scene (below). To unlock this event you'll need to first view all previous Mod Shop content up to and including the "punishment" scene with Dan & Duncan.
With the inclusion of the new outfit, the old one will no longer be available meaning that the repeatable events in the Mod Shop will all need updated. I do plan to add these during the 3.4.0 cycle but I'm unsure if it'll make the initial launch.
I think a little ceremonial burning of the old outfit might be a fun addition to the scene ^_^
Mod Shop Danny - This is a scene between Lisa and Danny. Moddy is not involved gents, sorry! This event won't occur if Danny left the party and will be wildly different between Cheating, Sharing and Cuck players - Cheating players will not see any sexual content here but the other routes will. There will be a sort of "hidden" scene but I'll talk more on that at a later date.
Danny DL - A short event in which Lisa talks to Danny for the first time since the party. It isn't exciting, nor is it pleasant but it's a necessary event and I want to implement it sooner rather than later. This event will only be seen by players who had Danny leave the party.
Lisa's Dildo - Yes, Lisa will be getting her first sex toy in this update alongside accompanying repeatables.
Theo's Night Continuations - Includes Lisa going topless in the bar after X drinks and X Exhibitionism (yes, multi-req events will be more and more common as we continue further into the game).
Renshire Night (Drunk) - Not sure if I'll get to this in the initial patch or the following one but if Lisa is drunk at night there will be some new events added to core maps. To begin with I'll likely focus on the Renshire Outskirt first (where Lisa's house is).
Hotel Brava - Few new events here including Lisa working at the front desk, the streaker makes his first appearance, Lisa has a voyeur event in one of the rooms, Lisa and Julie recollect about what happened with Malik and Kerry at the hotel, Lisa bonding with Julie. Julie will be optional but she unlocks several areas of the game I'm sure many of you are interested in. I'll not spoil what but it'll be spoken about between the two in the patch and I'm quite sure that when you're viewing their conversation; it'll make Julie a very appealing character to pursue lol!
Julie isn't "romanceable," instead it's more of a friendship between her and Lisa that opens new areas of the game.
Luca sleepover(s) - I'm seriously considering making these events repeatable with different outcomes based on whether you're seducing Luca, romancing Viv or both - there's a lot to cover in this section as it'll be a steadily evolving series of events and to what stage I make the outcomes in patch 3.4.0 isn't decided yet but all Luca fans should be very excited for this stuff ^_^
Fun Shopping (Viv) - I'll leave this one for now. This event can be with or without Viv depending on whether you're on Viv's route or not but the outcome is largely the same. I'll probably dedicate a post to this when I'm in that development cycle
Calvin's Apartment - There's a section of the Calvin apartment intro that I don't want to spoil so I'll only talk on the apartment section and let the initial part remain a secret. There's no
REAL reason for me to do this honestly, I just think it'd be more fun this way for you guys ^_^
I'll break down Calvin's Apartment below as it's a little complicated due to it being very divergent based on route.
Troy - Lisa goes for another "massage." I'm certain you understand what that means at this point
Bathhouse - We'll be talking a lot about the bathhouse come development time so we'll leave it for now.

super hyped to show you guys Lisa's new Mod Shop outfit, it's so awesome. I was worried for a long time that I wouldn't find an outfit that both looked like something Moddy would buy Lisa, that Lisa would
actually wear and ALSO something that's great to work with in Daz but I swear, I've got the
PERFECT blend of all worlds and I'm sure you guys are gonna love it!
I'm also really excited for more Luca stuff, working on his previous content was a ton of fun for me both in RPGM and in Daz and the next few steps are sure to follow that same trend of excitement as the naughty side of Lisa starts rearing it's head full force.
I've been itching to make Dan content for YEARS and now I finally get to get that ball rolling which is just amazing. He's a character without much screen time so far but the rest of patch 3.X.X has a LOT of Dan content in it.
Calvin's Apartment is another one that's been briefly mentioned for years now and it's actually here so I'm just really, really looking forward to all of it
Alright so let's talk a little about Calvin's apartment. First of all; it's
mandatory. Calvin is a story character and this event will be necessary to continue through to Lisa's Graduation (Act II! A little about this below).
Calvin's apartment is complicated because Calvin is already divided between Sharing, Cheating and Faithful routes. The main difference here is that Lisa doesn't know who Vicki is unless the player is on the Sharing route. Now that fact alone isn't a problem, the complexity lies in the fact that some Sharing players may have opted to have Danny leave the party meaning that he's absent from the game for most of Episode 3. So it's just compounding the number of variants required.
In this patch only
one route has sexual content and that's cheating, specifically players who played the cheating version of the camping trip. Sharing, Faithful and Cuckold players will not see any sexual content during this event. The sexual content doesn't even involve Calvin so I'll just leave it at that for now xD
More perceptive players might've already figured out who it does involve given that I made a point to mention Vicki and how Lisa doesn't know her on most routes
So, yeah.. There's a LOT of huge route divergences in this patch which makes it somewhat difficult to quantify just how big it'll be. I'd estimate probably 1k CGs at least so it will need be to split into two patches but that's fine. I won't make you wait any longer than the usual cycle for a new build, I promise
Act II?
I've decided that I want to break up the game into two acts. This literally doesn't change anything for you, it'll be the same game, same engine, same saves etc. It's simply a title to note that we've completely flipped the switch and shit's getting real. Expedition 33 planted a seed in my head and I can't shift it. When I was storyboarding Lisa's Graduation alongside the song, I just thought "this would be the
PERFECT time for ACT II to appear on screen and that's exactly what I'm gonna do so while I may talk about Episodes in terms of breaking up the game's sections, the shift in Acts is where the real change happens and that's at the end of the final 3.X.X patch.
The end of Act I will make the game's new logo seem less of a "strange choice." I say it all the time man but I can't bloody wait to make that patch xD
There will only be two acts in the game unless I decide to really dramatize the ending and make it it's own act which to be honest.. I may well do.
I'd like to name the acts but I'm not sure what exactly I want to name them yet. I sort of considered Act I being called "Lisa" simply then naming Act II; "Tony" but I think that might confuse players a little, that they may think they're now gonna be playing from Tony's perspective which AS COOL AS THAT SOUNDS.. is not the case xD (no Last Of Us tricks here!)
I know I'll eventually land on the titles for the acts but they haven't hit me just yet

No animations in the post this week, it's just a little slow on that side of things because I have a game to build as well lol ^_^
What I really need is to setup like 20-30 template workflows for different actions and just use those in future. Currently it's just all over the place and I don't know my elbow from my arse but I will organize things a little better after the beta is released.
The patch will be released somewhat incomplete. I just won't have time to add all of the animations I want in. There may be a few CGs missing off the end too but that's always the way in these parts. Shouldn't take long after the alpha release but I will be taking Christmas day off this year ^_^
