Do you understand that this has literally no effect on anything other than the local feelings of individuals? Those who want to pay will pay even if the content is nearby, for free. Fans of the pirate code will be waiting for free versions in any case. Sooner or later, what difference does it make?

There is no code here. There are only individual people who have cultivated in themselves a basic dignity, based on which they will silently pay for the game on Steam or on other platforms.
