I feel the focus is too much in how the games look instead of story and writing.
If those two had more weight, a bunch of games would (and should) switch ratings.
e.g.
Sicae: Looks ok and but has shallow elementary school anime writing (grammar also sucks) -> B on a good day
Nature of Magic: Looks ok as well but is very well written and has a better story -> A
Just because a game looks dope doesn't mean it's good. It's not working for AAA games and it's not working here.
(Yeah, I'm one of those who are happy with pixels if story and writing are good enough
