Because the community that loves to start problems in threads with content they don't like love to do so. They then also group up like a hivemind and like eachothers comments to circle jerk eachother and faclepalm people with different opinions to make it look like they actually have any sort of popular or valid opinion some accounts even used for this even alts if you look at who is liking and who is facepalming the comments (new accounts are super easy to spot lmao).
Take joe here for example (in the latest comment above mine) bitching, shitting on the dev, and going on rants why because the dev made options for multiple different things like ntr and harem the game cannot be good because in his opinion having ntr and harem in the same game makes it automatically dogshit then goes on a rant about how he is just going to ignore the game as if that means anything to anyone. Not to mention him saying the dev will just fail because of this which is completely not true in the slightist and just lies and misinformation because him and the others in his group like to try to scare devs to only making games catered to his interests.
Another prime example of why the mods are taking action against them for filling threads with this garbage.

NGL it would b pretty funny if this was a bait game, where instead of porn it's just more psychological horror. Just like how the original game baited the dating sim weebs.
I skipped over it when I first saw it because I thought it was the free steam version, which is on this site for some reason.

This game is going nowhere.. no story.. no real interaction. designed like a sandbox with no content. so it is not much more than a flash type game dating sim but than they usually have more actually to do than this. Should of just made it a free roam sex simulator as it is not much more content than many illusion games walk around and fuck a girl.
I liked the Doki Doki characters but this is just one to fap to and not really play. Should at least put sounds in to make the sex a bit more interesting.

I a tad curious admittedly. if this is a complete overhaul it doesn't bode well. i doubt it would get the "friendship with benefits" treatment where a patch to reverse it gets made.
