I decided to replay the game from scratch 2 days ago and it has been an extremely unpleasant experience for the most part.
I still think the art is unique and this game holds up largely because of it (also its story, although I have my doubts that most players will read it because of how repetitive everything gets when playing) and its constant updates, but it needs major improvements in the QoL and its awful gameplay.
This game could be top in its genre, but there are a number of factors that weigh it down enormously and make it much less enjoyable than it could be:
1.-The sheer amount of repetitive tasks. This should not have been a problem at the beginning when there was not so much content, but over time, repeating the same quest 4 or 5 times for a secondary character becomes torture for the player. I got the skip button worn out and it makes me lose interest in the story even if I want to dwell on it.
2.- The task list is quite uncomfortable. You can have 10 or 12 characters with active tasks and scrolling down constantly even for the smallest task becomes an absolute pain. I would prefer a pop-up window that shows at a glance what you need to do and not to die of disgust scrolling down and down and down...
And no, the collapse button is no help.
So far so good. As soon as I catch up with the update I'll surely add new things, but enjoying the game as a "new player" seems an absolute Odyssey
