You need to run one of the two .exe as ADMINISTRATOR to be able to play. (not applied for Win7 )

Right mouse click on one of the two .exe files and click Run as administrator. (see screenshot)

None of the above helps (exe and win8). The game crashes on launch with the same error "arg"

I'm getting the error too. Using either of the exes, running as administrator or not, windows 8 compatibility or not. It just crashes with that error on boot.

• Gigabyte A320M-S2H V2
• MSI GeForce GTX 1660 (6 ГБ)
• Ballistix Sport LT 8 ГБ (x2)

Not that good to play (on high settings) new games, but either not that bad to get crashed on load, i guess.
Because this error has appear only in new versions of the game, in v1.2.0 there was no problem on load and playing too.
And, as I said before, "both exe's and win8" doesn't work for me.

2.1.0 is a important update with lot of modification about character custom, so your character can be corupted, you can try to recover when you custom it or just create a new game

Same, except for me it's like 30 seconds.
