I have an old Mac computer, and I have played several RenPy games in it, without any issues.
There is something in your game that makes it be very very slow. At least the previous versions didn't run well, and it's very difficult to play it when any action leads to a loading time.
I haven't tested yet this last version of your game (v0.50), and I don't know if you have addressed or are planning to address the issue? If you wish, I can test the new version and let you know if there is any difference.

How old are we talking? The game's minimum specs are 1024mb of vram for the full version. The compressed versions I don't know, but likely less as they can store the whole game in RAM on any machine built after 2002. Do let me know how it runs.

It's a machine from 2010 with 8Gb of RAM. As I said there are no issues (in general, ~98%) with other RenPy games, so, I think, it must be related to how your game is loading the assets (vs how other games do that). I will check the new version later or tomorrow and will let you know.

Hi, I don't know why I can't unlock the ryokan, even though I meet all the requirements. But still, no ryokan for me. T.T. Does anyone have a more complete guide on this? Like, maybe I missed a step or a save?

Made an error editing the files... so thats on me. Scenes unlocked properly now. As other have pointed out, doing oral 5 times seems to be the most common barrier

Same here, cant unlock the new activity.

Tried to unlock the replay by save editing.. it shows the replay but its grayed out. Only replay that doenst work. Started a new save, unlocked all replays by unlocking. All others work but not the ryokan. Looks for me like the scene isnt included in the alpha 0.5?

how were you rich enough to afford a mac in 2010 ($1200) when minimum wage was 7.25 but cant get an upgrade/new 15 years later ($599 - $699) non of my business just curious

Nevermind. I found what was blocking... you need to orally pleasure her multiple times. I did 10 times and seems was sufficient for Ryokan to be proposed on Saturday Morning.

Tip for unlocking the ryokan, i hadnt played the game is some time so i hadnt even done the beach which allows to give her oral sex and in the back of my mind i remember in the past having to do previous sexual things 5 times before you could trigger the new one no matter how high your points.

so over the next weeks i got my points up a bit and gave her oral 5 times and next weekend after the 5th oral i could take her so i'm fairly confident that oral is the key

And that ain't massive. An option to trim perhaps but that would double some renders to provide both options.
