Afaik Ai was only used for backgrounds and it is separate install from other colored files. The night scenes etc are supposedly still colored by hand.

Jhnnn's stuff was colored by AI, presumably trained on Daeson's progress I dunno if Stable Diffusion needs some original data to work with or not.

They might have changed direction after the whole coloring explosion but at the time Jhnnn wasn't hiding it.

so ive done this for those that have constant errors or struggle progressing the game. i have attached the fixed version of the game, with kagura and fan merges, QOL from both, and the colour mod also. ive beat the darkness and tournament, and ive bought pretty much most things, and have a decent chunk of change left over too. decent stats with the sister, and progressing on the anal progress with her.


providing my save file works with this package, you should be able to just jump in and enjoy the sex scenes with minimal grinding. and no errors either.

I believe you failed to mention this also has FFFox mod installed? No mention of that and no mention of version you installed. Please be more clear and credit the right people for their work.

Also, dont put your save file as a default save for game. Let people play their own saves, but you can include yours as optional thing. Or at least keep most save slots free and just one for "skip ahead" if ppl for some reason want to skip entire game and progression (which is big part of the fun tbh).

Im sorry, I get a bit confused.
The Fan Translation is the Full Game + DLC, right? Does it also include "costumes" like the Kagura version?
Is the Fan Translation uncensored? Cuz the links for the mods related are still up, dunno if up to date tho .x

Both versions are pretty much identical content-wise, just different translations and decensors (i think?).

I dont have images of the font, but here is a workaround:

The font can be changed by deleting the PixelifySans-VariableFont_wght.ttf file in the game folder. hope that helps! (still not a great font, but better than the utter horror they used)

The situation was very confusing and im still not exactly sure, but AFAIK Jhnnn originally colored everything by hand and only used ai for generating new backgrounds. But because of that the ai conversation was started and quickly took direction of attempting to "quickly do heavy work using ai in all images". And then the trainwreck started going off the rails.

I only used Midjourney to generate the new backgrounds. Everything else was recolored by hand (more than 10 hours of work for sure).

Your method seems to give impressive results! The small details that are wrong could be corrected by hand pretty quickly. If it is fast to do, it would be ideal for the scenes that are so intricate that it would take a ton of work to reach the same level of details as the picture you've shown.

I know that it might be depressing to see how powerful AI is now compared to traditional ways of doing things. But if it can alleviate the insane workload that would be required to cover all of the remaining game. I feel like we could experiment with this a bit.

Is your method fast? Could you try to recolor the following images?

So according to this quote Jhnnn was doing work manually, but was open to experimenting with ai. Jhnnn got into heavy fire as a result and Daseson nearly gave up on their work in the process. Despite Jhnnn never intending to "replace daseson with ai" as some people made it sound.

I still think Jhnnn should not touch the backgrounds or at least not try to replace them with soulless midjourney slop, but he did do actual work recoloring scenes by hand so give him some credit for that.

Yes, there are no names given to either sister or brother as far as i know. Possibly just game design choice or maybe theres more meaning behind it since pretty much everyone calls mc "a brother". Who knows?

This goes back as far as Sister Travel where everybody called you "Big Brother" too despite the other girls not actually being your little sisters (they are blood related in both Monochrome games though). And if you want to go even further back there was another older and shorter game where there was simply a "Senpai" (You) and a "Kouhai".
It seems to be an Inusuku thing.

I prefer Steam ver, but some prefer fan translated one.
You can download both versions and play both for 15 minutes to see which translation you prefer more.

PS: Попробуйте полностью перезапустить Winlator перед запуском игры/контейнера, иногда он глючит и не обновляет настройки.

As far i remember, these were important:

Offscreen Rendering Mode: Backbuffer
Strict Shader Math: Disable
Video Memory Size: 4096 MB

#Win components tab
Set everything to use: Builtin (wine)

#Advanced tab
Both Box presets: Compatibility

###Game configuration (Config.exe)
Use all defaults, but especially these:
Graphic Display Mode: 3D mode
Screen Settings: Window Mode
DirectX version: DirectX 11

TIP:
Once you get game running, add F4 button to input overlay. It sets game to fullscreen.

PS: Try to restart Winlator completely before running game/container, sometimes it bugs and does not update settings.

Played both, there's some parts of the steam version that just doesn't make sense. There's parts of the fan-translation that uses memes. Both of them have things I'm not fond of but both of them are overall pretty good, you really don't lose anything regardless of which you choose. Personally, I play steam version mostly out of laziness but I recommend Shade's version.
