sadly it is mostly leachers on this site, furthermore they have the audacity to bitch about a product they are not even supporting. Not just this title but many others.

i don't think he needs the money or doing it for the money tbh not that he does not need it but his highest tier is 5$ so if he were looking to make serious bank off it would be higher tiers least that is how i see it though
I think if you do a project like this I'd hope you weren't going into it to make money but rather a passion project, if you then make money that's literally icing on the cake. Of course the problem comes from when they become successful is that they'll start to drip feed the content so it really doesn't matter for the end-user. I've seen plenty of vns from 2017-2018 that are very popular that barely have any content at all which is shocking. You'd expect a full-blown game after a few years with the money some of these developers are generating.
I also hope it wasnt abandoned. I really enjoyed it too and would support it.
I dont think it was, I just supported on his Patreon and his last update was Dec 7 mentioning he was going to get better PC parts so he could render faster.I don't even want to believe that it was abandoned. THIS CANNOT BE.

the project is not abandoned, I've been chatting with the Author. He is the sole creator, and does all the images, as well as the script, additionally he is working on adding animation.
This being the holiday season also has been a factor in the delay for the next release.

i been in contact with the creator, bad news is they have lost the Vicky model due to catastrophic HDD failure, good news is they are making a new Vicky model in DAZ 9 and new MC model so he is not so creepy looking. Best news is they are not abandoning the project.
Keep in mind the creator is the sole developer in renders and story.... They are also not professional graphic/video artist either.
I do have an example of the new models, however they have not said if i can post it.

With storage so cheap these days why in 2024/2025 are devs not backing up their assets? And while HDDs are still cheaper than SSDs per GB, especially the higher you go, you're sacrificing way too much, including reliability to use them for anything other than something like an 8TB HDD for mass backup.

I mean, yeah, and there is so many cheap cloud storage places as well, hell MEGA gives you 20GB free and can make as many burners accounts as you want, and they never remove them unless you don't log in for a year. Hell OneDrive gives you a lot of free data to.

I think this is the 2nd time I have had an SDD failure. This time taking all my Vicky assets from DAZ and a whole chapter of renderings. I am still trying to recover the files, looks like I'm going to need a professional recovery team or specialist. And who knows how long that will take.
And I was never really happy with LWV renders in the beginning, I've since learned so much. Not to mention I have a brand new PC with an upgraded graphics card. So in my head instead of abandoning the project like I said I would never, I'm going to remake it completely. In this new remake there will be:

- no Sabrina, just Vicky, and MC.
- it will be shorter and only focus on MC and Vicky.
- New improved character models with the latest G9 for realism.
- Much improved renders thanks to my new graphics card.
- The storyline will be mostly the same, I will only implement the changes you guys asked for, i.e less creepy MC, no "force" and fewer side characters.
- more animations
- a more cinematic experience instead of 16:9 I will be experimenting with 2:35.1 renders.
