I know it was a fan translation but it was well made, so i dont think there is a difference beside the uncensored CGs.
Meanwhile there are many great games waiting to be translated and time is being wasted on retranslating... also the last few games translated by them are not even worth mentioning

It's not the CG it's the event playback most people want.

Hacky solution to the new version crashing on trying to load or save. Copy the audio and system graphics from the older version to the new version. Leave the Data and Pictures alone.

First of all, KG is a company. Companies work to make profit. Liz is popular game, people even made mods for it. So it's pretty much a tested product with a fanbase so it's guaranteed to sell well. This is important because they work in a niche market. Also, even if fan translation was good, KG offers uncensored graphics.
So they'll continue releasing fan translating games because it's a risk-free choice.

Secondly, they are pretty much partnered with Clymenia. I'm pretty sure that sooner or later all their newer games will be released by Kagura (Salvation, Nobleman, Witch Act).
Also, AFAIK they can just buy the fan translation. Dunno if they've done it this time but I know it happened once or twice.

In short: from our point of view, they are wasting time and we'd rather have translated something new but from KG's point of view, this is a great business opportunity.

Probably because the japanese version of the game was put into the kagura version that has english file names. Why was this updated without at least testing if it even works first?
Edit: well i tested it myself (just the opening dunno about the whole game), its just saves that won't work with the english version of the game. Here is a gallery save for the english version. Why not wank it on sadpanda if you just want the CGs?

The rest of ya are morons with no understanding of how businesses work. Which is what KG is. They're not fantranslators who do it for fun and give the translations away for free. They sell translated games for a living.

And to do such requires them to get the right to do from the games' creators. Creators who likely didn't see a dime or yen from the fantranslations of their games. So naturally, some of those creators will come to KG and offer them those rights in return for a cut of the profits. And as said before, KG is a business. The more games they can sell, the better off they are.

As for why some games are translated sooner than others, most likely that's because the creators asked that the translation for their games be done and sold by a certain date while negotiating the deal for the rights.

I don't like some of the games they've been translating as a late either. But I'm not going to bitch and moan about it, unlike you guys.

I think the point was, what exactly were you looking forward to? The game has been beautifully translated for quite some time and you could have already enjoyed it.

I get MTL has become a plague as of late, but there are some very good translations out there. This was one of them. So the complaint is valid.

All I said was "I was really ->HOPING <-Kagura Games wouldn't waste time with another already well translated game. There's plenty of others on their release list that aren't translated by anyone.". I'm well aware of all that I knew they would want to cash in it makes sense however I was just saying "I WAS HOPING" as in I would have liked or preferred if just concentrated on the other games. It's just how I feel about this stuff I'm not trying to force this thought process on anyone just giving my opinion.

I tried one virgin run, cleared and then noticed there are 2 craftable items, "Honey Sour" and "Fruit Juice", totally untouched

I actually dropped the fan translation version few minutes into the game because it did a very basic translation mistake. I personally can't trust something that can't even do the basic right. The fact that it reads like an edited MTL, albeit a good one, doesn't help either. At first i plan to just play it in JP but then i learn that this game is being translated by Kagura so i decided to wait it instead. Having an official release almost always better than having only a fan translation unless the game being censored in official release or they decided to save money by hiring a complete amateur.

Nah, just a pretty good corruption game. Where it differs from the norm is that there is no NTR involved, with the girl enjoying most of the situations she's in.

To reach wider audiences - specially non japanese speakers, you gotta have these official translations. Fan translations don't bring money for the devs who are creating these games. Now, if they don't make money out of their own creation, how can you expect them to keep making more?

I know there are some ppl who would go buy the japanese version after playing the fan translation or buy the japanese version & apply patch of englsih fan translation as a mean to support the creators but that's not a proper way. If you're trying to sell your products, you gotta make it easily accessible first for ppl to try it out; not any roundabout ways. Official translations do exactly this for the customers outside of Japan.

I've bought this game now that Kagura has officialy released it whereas I couldn't find a way to support it before. A lot of ppl will do the same. It's now on some major storefronts like jastusa, steam, mangagamer which will help to discover & access the game easily & boost its sale as well. I know some frnds whom if I recommend this game now will also buy it. Previously If I had to recommend, either I had to direct them to a japanese store or this site & that's a major no-no for a lot of ppl. Also, official translations can be more accurate with little to no mistakes unlike some fan translations.

And it's not like only Kagura wanted to translate the game for business purpose. Clymenia itself wants its game to get translated so that it can reach to wider audiences. I mean as a dev, why wouldn't you want that? Fan translation may give some exposure but it doesn't bring in the dough.

Fan translation version is still better because of mod that add many things like new events and costumes.

What I added:
*I added access to some cut content and tweaked the game a bit for them to fit in:
The previously inaccessible costumes, and a middle ground of disheveling Liz's normal clothes.
*I also added a little small event, just some combinations nothing really new though.

*All the previously inaccessible costumes (or uniforms if you prefer) are now obtainable and functional,
they can be obtain by talking to their respected job providers after your work.
*A special piercing costume (kind of) can be obtain by talking to the exhibitionist woman again.
*The NPCs will comment on some of the costumes while being exposed, and some generic event will work with the said costumes, only lower layer is finished.

Ver1.01=Bugfix
*Fixed the piercing costume event, it can be obtain by just talking to the exhibitionist woman naked.
*Events in White Haired Oliver's inn should work properly now.
*Event with the Seed of Depravity Merchant should work properly now. But upper layer is still far from finished though

*Finished the Top Stratum. Well, there's not much to add really.
*Added another cut content, a middle ground of disheveling Liz's normal clothes. It's functional but I have to think of a way of adding it into the story latter.
*Added some small events to Bathouse,Armor shop,Casino.
*Added access to go back to the casino mini-game after the latter stage.
*The Casino and The out door part of the mage quarter in the upper layer is mostly done

Ver1.03=Mostly bugfix
*Fixed a dialog bug that came with middle ground of disheveling Liz's normal clothes, now townfolks' comments will hopfully always work properly.
*Fixed the ingame data of piercing costume, now it actually does what the two items do when you wear it.
*The upper layer is still not completed yet. Too many dialogs too little time.

Ver1.04=Mostly bugfix
*Fixed some minor bugs
*Pretty much done with all the area.
*Now the middle ground of disheveling Liz's normal clothes works properly with Aisha arould.
*Translated the "lost virginity to" in status, but would only work if you start with a new game.
