after leveling up the Lona to level 99, there will be no more points. Am I missing something? is there a way to get more leveling points to ascend stats? perhaps, an item that can give more points and only leveling points!
Install Joiplay, run this joiplay version of the game and see if it runs.
There's 6 extra trait points you can get for each boarding ship/ending/achievement. I don't exactly remember the detailed requirements. Try scouring this thread and the wiki for more infos.

Long story short, I accidentally slaughtered the Vineet Bhave (Gray Rat) [Noer Inn; Companion, Guardian of Cecily Eaglemore], is there any way to revive the character or period NO?

Its capped at level 99 so you wont receive exp points obv., you must download a mod if you want to level your character beyond level 99 though

I just got back into the game since a long time, but are the special weapons (shattered katan) (false god slayer) supposed to be this... bad? like in damage terms its not even close to comparing to something like the halberd, damage aside the windup for the attacks is also massive, in combat with more than 1 enemy you are 100% getting staggered out of your attack, or am I using them wrong?
I just love it when games are so stupidly hard that I get screwed over in like the third mission. Literally unable to 1v1 a single bandit. Lovely game.

I haven't really tested False God Slayer that much since it's far too heavy (40WT, has move speed reduction and can give Lona a Vertigo debuff during the spin), its spin helps in dealing with surrounding ennemies, the block is an interesting addition but apart from that, it didn't have anything particularly special that justifies all its shortcomings (not sure if it got buffed in later update).
As for Katana, it's not meant to powercreep any existing weapon, its main uses are:
- Block/stun an attacking ennemy (the stun time, while low, is enough to cast some skill such as juicing on that stunned ennemy).
- Self-buff ATK (each successful attack increases Lona's ATK by 5, up to 35. This ATK buff isn't just limited to Katana so you can switch to another weapon after gathering the buff. The buff doesn't last long however and will quickly dissipate when moving).
- Phase through some entity (enables some strat such as making a wall of tentacles with Abomination Totem that you can phase through and get to a safe zone).
-If you're a pro samurai with good reflex and foresight, this weapon can prove to be better than all of the other weapons in 1v1.
This Katana won't help you kill as effectively as the other weapons like Saber+Dagger, Halberd and Longbow but it got the utilities that work particularly great in a mixed build of Succubus and Magic.

idk about shattered Katana, but False god slayer is extremely powerful, yes the downside is annoying, but you are immune to most staggers while using it and the damage it deals can easily mow down enemy hordes, it's even useful, altho redundant, vs single target enemies, it helped me beat two bosses
