Question for those with Modding/Editing experience :
I'm trying to create a powercreep Lona edit, I've been successful by simply adding :
"attribute_name": "atk_plus",
"attribute_type": "Tmax",
"adjustor": "+",
"adjustment": "0.5"
to the trait_Combat.json, nice and easy, it works... increases damage with level, is shown in Lona's stats.
however, the same cannot be said for :
"attribute_name": "def_plus",
"attribute_type": "Tmax",
"adjustor": "+",
"adjustment": "0.5"
I've tried changing the Tmax to Tmin, current, even tried the "def" attribute_name and combos... no effect. I could easily just increase the effects using the personality traits or changing the above on armour , but that defeats the idea I'm aiming for (which is a stable, flat def bonus per stat increase in constitution, regardless of personality, also, timid getting that +8 def is weird.. tough only getting 2? strange)
any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

The short answer is that it's better to have the disclaimer than not, regardless of whether or not people will perceive them one way or another. It's like the disclaimers on TV where 'any resemblance to real life people are purely incidental.' Why even risk it? It takes 2 seconds of your time for an extra layer of defense.
Is there anything actually sexy in this game at all? I'm fine with non-con, monsters and stuff I can deal with. But this just looks like an ugly game where every sexual encounter is meant to be gross and undesirable. Is it actually possible to protect her smile? I get a suspicion that she never smiles once in the entire game.
Also, I see the scat tag... I absolutely cannot stand scat, so I need to know if these scenes are all 100% avoidable/optional. Otherwise that's a dealbreaker.

Scat and piss is optional, you can play the game 100% without it on (I very much keep that shit turned off)
Yeah she smiles and the sex scenes aren't all bloody, bruised, or gory. This really only happens when you get raped after you lose. But if you build your lona around sex, you basically never have to worry about this.
Speaking of builds, you can make your lona slutty. So every sexual encounter she just absolutely fucking enjoys. So even rape becomes forced consent pretty much.
Overall, I'd play it. There's so much you can do and customizable options. Want your lona lighter skinned? Change it. Want your lona to have big tits? Big booba mod. Piercings, hair color, etc. also rebirths so your lona can change races too.
This is by far the best, most unique RPG on this website. Don't let the dark gloomy world or difficulty scare you.

Honestly, if you don't like what you see on the OP, the game's most likely not for you. The art's meant to convey a sense of repulsiveness. Nearly all the H-scenes will use that template and nearly all the people fucking/raping her don't give a shit about her feelings. It's an unforgiving grimdark setting and the story starts you off in the early stages of an apocalypse, civil unrest, and being a refugee in a city so full of poor, begging, desperate refugees that its citizens actively and openly discriminate against them. In short, outlook for life is pretty shit for the character you will be playing. If that's not a vibe you're interested in exploring, the game's not for you.
A for the question of protecting her smile, the answer is yes, but most likely not on your first few playthroughs. Success will depend on your ability to pick up the game's unconventional mechanics and make informed decisions to manage her physical condition and to best approach a mission or fight. Everything moves in realtime and you do not want to trade blows. Honestly, if you get captured by goblins or end up enslaved, just restart. Veteran players will enjoy the challenge of planning and executing an escape for when they inevitably fuck up, but newer players will most likely waste a half hour or longer watching her physically deteriorate until she dies, which isn't fun for them. There's a NG+ system, but it requires you to survive long enough to give birth. Like with real life, you can suffer a stillbirth if you push Lona too hard while she's pregnant or she takes too many hits. She'll have morning sickness and generally tire more easily, and there's like a 1 in 10 chance that the birth isn't viable to begin with, forcing you to try having another baby.
Although the setting's generally depressing, there's a couple characters that you may find yourself endeared to, such as a feral orphan that you'll be rehabilitating into a happy, smiling housekeeper. Honestly, if you get that far, you're more likely to want to protect her smile than Lona's.
This is what I needed to hear. I think I'll try playing her as a little brown hooker who sucks and fucks her way to victory. Thanks!

this, a lot of the content is off putting, but for a damn rpg maker game, this is very well done. started working on a game of my own, i get inspired by this one and you realise how much good work they made to get that result xd.
Honestly most if not all of the sexual content in the game is repulsive to me unless I'm in a real strange mood.
But playing the game as a survival sim where you have to avoid death AND rape is intense and fun in it's own right.
But yeah you can spec into the nympho class.

Nah I don't need that, I don't like the sexual content for titillation, but it serves well to really complete the sickdark tone of the game. It just wouldn't be the same without it.

A perfect masterpiece like man games like these are rare, I havent played too much yet but i just wanted to say its really well made for a rpgm game much better than usual slop with 20 cgs and shit story you find here.
