If your game already unpacked, replace all CG/insert image pieces you want gone with bland/transparent one. Can be done in 30 mins if you know what to tweak.

On an unrelated note, if anyone is up to make a LonaRPG wiki page, I'm up to help fill it, I quite a lot of playtime on several playthrough and tested a lot of things, and I dug into the files a few times between translating and just curiosity. I just never made a wiki page and have no idea how to open one. Also maybe we should ask permission to eccma first ? Although I imagine he would laugh at our face. idk.

Nah, I have been playing rpgm games for 15 years. When devs wander away from the standard interface all they do is make life difficult for their players and themselves. Enter->interact, esc -> open menu, mouse clicks-> something happens

It's possible to play this game with a xbox controller and you can map the hotkeys with the controller too .The game is very difficult and seemingly unfair because it is. I'm glad it gives me enough information. I'm personally not looking for an oversimplyfied game UI but thats personal preference.

The game isn't even finished and has more replay value than the average H game. I'm not saying it's perfect but you can't complain if you get it for free. I'm supporting this game and gain nothing more than you. I want to see it finished. If you played RPGm games for this long you likely saw disregarded Interface with no use whatsover. He can do whatever he wants in his game. You can try modding it to your taste if you're capable.

Don't bother, it's just him inventing excuse for not wanting to read the tutorial and the UI.

I mean:
-Press Z : confirm/talk/interact...
-Press X: Open menu/close menu...
-Hold Shift: Run

The most basic of basic of RPGmaker games, but he doesn't want to use any more buttons/shortcut than his lazy ass can handle so now cut to 8 shortcuts menu + SPACE button and he starts sweating the detail.
There's also combination of button like:
SHIFT + Z to pick up and equip
CTRL to crouch
ALT + Directional button to look around + Extra D to defend while looking around + Extra CTRL to look pretty while staying in the shadow if you can afford the final stealth skill upgrade.
Cancel skill button
combo and chain attack
etc...

Oh well, too much to bother with, back to Press Z to blaze-through-the-game normal RPGmaker game.

Are you ok? You seem very stressed. I recommend some deep breathing and maybe a little lie-down. Don't get triggered, you are going to be OK. When I use standard rpgm controls I dont need to learn anything, because they are...standard, which is the point I was making. Now if you like the game, good on you, I hope you enjoy it. I personally dont want to have to do a tutorial to learn the controls when I could be busy actually playing the game

The one from April by SomeoneElsE is the latest addition to the cheat. Big fat chance it won't work properly with current game version.

Anyone else has had trouble traveling to fish island? When I select either the travel or barter buttons the fishkind offers at the port it throws me an error. I can go around by buying from a "barter" button that appears after getting the error for the first time but it will remain there anyways. It's a translation issue Ig. Should I stop using the translation offered at the main page?

Is it possible to save the prisioners in the orckin cave in the tutorial? I escorted them to the exit but it didn't seem to do something, they just kept crawling there following me and didn't leave.

You must bring them to the exit in the north-west. Not the crack/hole you came from

The latest english patch linked in the first page is for 0.5.4.4 so if you should use it only if you are playing with the exact same version of the game.
If your game is 0.5.6.1 then look at my recent posts, I uploaded a patch for this version a few days ago. For 0.5.7 you will have to wait for a while as I will not work on it until a few 0.0.0.x updates later and CaiNanE isn't currently available to work on the eng patch.

Is there anything that deep one lona can wear/use for lighting? I don't want to spend 30 points in scu just to see in the dark.

Put Lantern in to one of EXT slots? It's not blocked during transformation.

Upper exit, lower exit is the crack you come from, too big for them, Lona is a petite girl, and goblins are small, so goblins and Lona can slip through.
Beware of traps. (Seriously though, you're a daredevil aren't ya? You're not supposed to enter that cave right now)

Anyways how's your progress with the game ? Manage to get a feel of the combat system yet ?
Believe me when I say the combat and framerate is 150% smoother more than it used to be 9 months ago (many thank to Teravisor, author and others). Combat used to be very wacky, unresponding back in the day but now it's fluid (allowing you to use more game frames for your actions, thus lowering your chance of being attacked). Heck, even the frame rate was below 30 FPS back then.

- If Lona gets pregnant and lets it go all the way to birth, what happens with the baby that she gives birth to? Does what happen change depending on where she is when she gives birth?

- I've read about rebirth, is this available for all races that can impregnate Lona? Or just a select few?

Some of the really cramped streets make it impossible not to be completely surrounded in 2 seconds.

Is hiring bodyguards 24/7 the only way?

Always chose hide first before engaging encounter, this will spawn enemy group far away from you, you start at center of the map and will have to make your way past them to the border. Unless playing or harder mode, you can escape at the border anytime you want.
Always keep at least one companion avaiable at all time, for this matter, the dog is a good choice as he is a permanent companion (no time limit). Walk slowly toward enemy group, the dog will bark and attract enemy attention while you sprint past them (they will not pay Lona any mind), make sure you escape fast or he's gonna be hotdog sandwiched by bandits.
