I found a bug (maybe?) in v0.4.9.4. When Lona has SThigh Injury and takes a bath, she never faints. STA goes to -100 when selecting "Bathe", but becomes -98 after the bath. I think Masochist trait might be the cause: (The pain is kind of nice)?

Pee poo can be turned off in menu the rest might be harder. I don't know if the cheat mod handles any of those.

I often save in the Burning Keg right infront of the mission/quest guy. I do this with most saves. Turns out I can't leave the map:

is there a way to avoid the extreme stuff like scat? I like the art style and am curious but the scat kills it for me completely

Is there a way to disable some of the more fucked up fetishes, like the parasites or the gore? Also a way to tone down how quickly she needs to shit, piss, and throw up? She gets insanely dirty in 2 minutes and it's too much for me.

You turn on scat and pee and can't live with your own decisions. And now you want to remove story elements ? What are you even ?

Also, in case you don't know despite playing the game, even on hardest mode, Doom mode, Lona doesn't even need to pee and shit unless you order her too. She can hold her shit together, unlike some people.
Passive and automatic shitting and peeing only happens when you let Lona be preyed on by parasites or some debuffs.

In case you want the math:
Defaut threshold for shitting and peeing based on default Lona's Will is 800.
You can't order her to pee or shit unless pee/shit's value >= 300 , a combination of pee + shit value >= 600 and you can force Lona to shit and pee all over the place as well. (both pee and shit value need to be >= 300 else only apply to one value)
With traits such as Hitchhiker and Whore of Babylon, Lona's Will goes up and the threshold shoots up as well to 1000 (If one trait picked) or 1200 (if both picked).

Thanks! I have all my saves since version 0.3.7.0, so no worries there. I probably put 69-72 hours into my last run. I will try to type in this method posted by eccma. Isn't he just the best? Maybe Teravisor will make a 5_SaveFix.rb even?

I am enjoying starting over as well. The new beginning/intro has become really polished! I also love the hints about why all the crap happens in the land by "Justice/DedOne" in the intro.

I knew I have seen all the text files but playing the game is a whole other thing.

alright a little bit of a long post probably. i have played a bit of 5.0 now. great game. but a couple things are still bugged. for example the 2 bugs that i reported earlier in this post bugs are still there. the difference is that the window (on the second bug) now says 5.0 instead of 4.9.4. i explained here how to trigger this bug. there are also several other minor text bugs ( like the ones in the first screenshot ) but i forgot to screenshot them, sorry.

with that being said, am i even supposed to report here all the bugs i find? or is this gonna be annoying? im just not sure where to do it. CaiNaE said in his eng patch post we should tell him when we find stuff like this. should i just use DM or should i keep posting these here once i find them?

now second question: is there a way (there probably is i just dont know how) to enable HELL mode WITHOUT the food removal and the non-healing when sleeping effect?
basically, i like the idea of being forced to go to the toilet once in a while. i like being forced to run away or hide from enemies till they lose agro, instead of being cheesy and just leave the map even tho they are right on my ass.
i like Hell mode. it makes it more realistic. the problem is that this whole food removal and never healing during sleep is just to hardcore for me.

so is there a way to edit the files so that the healing and food works just like in HARD mode, but the rest is HELL mode? do you know what i mean?

and lastly; i dont know how important that is. but i have no idea how to install the (official) 5.01 patch lol.
Here Squark explains how. but i have no data folder. there is no data folder in my game. i check all subfolders too. so no idea how to install this patch. i then just dropped the data folder into the main folder, but i feel like this wrong, since nothing was overwritten etc plus the game still says its 5.0 instead of 5.01.

or let me ask this way: do i even NEED this one, or is that one automatically included in the 5.01 eng merged patch?

Yeah, true, it took an insane author like him to make a (to each their own) masterpiece RPG like this. Been fine tuning Skyrim into a grimdark RPG then turning to Kenshi and Rimworld and then came LonaRPG. It's been a blast the last 8 years.

It's more realistic this way, you're supposed to learn how to make a makeshift kitchen (dark cauldron) in the wild and cook them to preserve them, all raw foods and soups will vanish/be discarded since it easily spoils. As in Hard mode, you will never need this skill anyways. Hell mode and above enforce the rule that you must value your Survival points.

About health, to start off, you have only 100 Stamina, but a whooping 200 HP. Your HP pool is good, learn to manage it and avoid fighting enemies equipped with spears and swords (bandits for example) unless you come equipped with at least a basic Shield, this mode force you to use a previously obsolete/useless item called Red Potion, this is important for your survival. Also, a full sleep heals you 40 HP, It's a good deal considering over 50% of enemies prefer to deal stamina damage.
Hell mode is not for the faint of heart, Traps will fuck you up even more so venturing into a dark cave is a big NO NO unless you scout/stalk the cave like 5 times a day, retreat and come back with a full arsenal of equipment and potion.
Sorry for the long post, but yeah, be patient and very cautious.

The data folder is packed inside the game.rgss3a. If you want to make any changes to that (patches/mods) you'll need to extract that file and then delete it (or the game will keep loading data from it). Do this with a RPG Maker Decrypter tool.

I've attached the one I use, it's pretty straightforward to use.

The eng merged patch includes txt files only, nothing to do with the game data/scripts.

I usually just hope bug reports here reaches eccma417 some how. Sometimes I can fix text bugs, like missing spaces or wrong colons or double [[]] that will mess up the text.

Aside from the one come packed with window, do you run any other virus protection program ? That program is very safe to use, you can tell the antivirus program to make an exception for it.

sure the pepole of noer treat them like shit but aren't most of them just op as fuck like cocona can summon an army of undead . gray rat is the closest thing to a moveing fortress and there are other moots who seem just as (if not more) powefull then them like the moot at the areana I wonder if ecama will add a city that is ruled by moots (like one where moots fight against there discrimination ) it would be pretty interesting
