So... I'm probably just stupid, but while trying to figure out controls etc in the tutorial area I'm struggling with one thing in particular: Once you're downed (as in the "I can't move my legs" text) is there any way to get back on your feet or is that just a guaranteed game over if you're not well fed and get 1 free revive?

Open the inventory and apply "Rest" to one of the slots. Each time use use it, it'll restore a little bit of STA but also consume very little SAT.
If you hold Shift and Rest, Lona will sleep for hours, usually waking up in the morning or evening, whichever is the next actual period. Just be sure you have at least 30 SAT before you sleep.

I took the quest from Doom Fort to do something with the Nine-Inch Tribe. Once there, they gave me a quest to go and kill some Demonic Boar thing called the Spiral King and return with it's dong. Which I did. I love the Long Bow.
Now the Penis Tribe retains its ! over the location marker and neither Noer nor Doom Fort has any commissions.
I'm sure I forgot to do something. I'm just not sure what.

But that only is an option when you're out of combat, isn't it? I can't really go to sleep while an enemy is attacking me, and since none of the attacks seem to work while you're down I don't see how you'd ever get out of the downed state...

If you go down in combat your only hope is a stamina potion or companions. Try to always keep your stamina high before fights and minimize stamina usage/loss in combat. In the tutorial use the lantern's fire attack on the rats and avoid fighting the goblins. It should be no problem whatsoever as long as you are landing the burn and running around/into the rats to avoid damage as they burn to death.

Press x, drop down to "Notes" to read letters.
You can explore to your liking, hold off on killing named NPC if you are unsure if certain quests will break. Stay away from corrupted land. The rest is a big learning experience.

I did the same thing you said for the last 8 hours but after reading what you said i got an idea and pressed right arrow and huzzah there it was it opened up into sub categories. Sorry, i may be dumb but the layout feels like its done by a kid. I clicked enter some thousand times without realizing these might be categories because the game never actually shows what we picked up(letters at least).
But, thanks really. I indirectly figured that by listening to outside perspective.
P.S: to be honest i actually picked this game up twice in the past and i dropped it since it had too much kanji and it broke for no reason and even back then i went mad trying to figure out how to open the letters and there was nothing about it in google.
Edit: What genius figured SP would be the right short form for space bar. we need to preserve his brain in 99% nitric acid and even that would have a hard time dissolving its thickness.

Is there a way to do this via putting it in your modscripts folder? Because I can't find any of the file locations said in this and I don't know how to open it...

Tera are there any way to make it also work with Lona projectiles to allies? cause they still hitting them even with that fix seem to only work with melee attack and that 1 aoe water spell.

Honestly, without stamina potion, once you're in downed state you're DONE.

you can do it mid combat as long as the enemies doesnt strike u while u resting, which is why u always need a companion with u to distract enemies so u can actually do that, i cant stress this enough for newbies to learn there strength in number and Lona a weak peasant girl she need all the help she can get. secondly killing enemies doesnt yield any exp at all unless it needed specific for the quest Lona should avoid all conflicts, the chances of enemies actually drop usable item for her vs the amount of resources, effort, and luck to survive the fight is not worth it.

Added more cheats based on what people have been posting about. I continue to hijack the Summon Menu mod that was previously posted.

F6 adds Barter Points
F7 heals a wound
F8 restores health, stamina, and food to max.
F9 opens a menu with:

• Summon (a list of objects, NPCs, etc.)
• Heal (same as F8)
• Heal Wounds (same as F7)
• Give Money (same as F6)
• Give Trait Points
• Make me a Moot (includes the trait)
• Make me a human (includes removing the Moot trait)
• Exhausted (-100 stamina)
• Make me morally good (sets morality to 100)
• Make me more evil (subtracts 10 morality)
