VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Long Lost Daughter [Ch 1-8 fix] [Tawny Fairquim Frolics]

I would like to say that this is a terrible combinason of bad scenes with a good story.
But the story itself is so boring that even when you want to skip it, it takes ages.
Moreover, the character models are incredibly creepy and the pose are unatural.
So in short, this game is good intentions mixed with bad CG and an uninteresting story

At first I didn't think I would be able to stand the religious part (my wierd ass is atheistic, as is 60% of the population of my country), but in the end I ended up quiet enjoing it, since it felt like it added some new layers into the story and the whole "world"/"family story and history" building. Also I really love that there are options to skip the for some too deep spiritual thoughts, although I haven't skipped one, yet again adding new layer to it all.
This is my first ever playthrough/readthrough (?) and I'm definitly coming back.

Sadly I didn't screenshot some parts, because there were some minor mistakes (nothing game or immersion breaking, so no big deal) with repeating words and stuff.

Keep up the good work good fellow and stay safe, so you can feed us some new updates and games in years to come!

It started out really good, fun anime-ish pics, sorta sexy waifu given to you right from the start etc. But I can't play this, and for a weird reason: this game is creepy AF because of the way it wants to get in your head and lecture you about life and death, immortality and the universe, lust and love, urinals or bidets, and whatever else the author wants to schitzophrenically impose upon you, using the "inner dialogue" method. After a while you're just like "Brrrrgh!", and can't even enjoy a good fap any more with it. Very very strange, because I'm usually up for the most horrendous shit you can imagine, nothing is a problem to me, but this VN creepy as hell man... You will feel yourself drowning in some seriously fetid nerd jizz. But the author does not care, he likes to brain-torture you and will continue doing so, and he's actually good at it too, so you will not want to just skip the text. Beware of this game!

I want to like this, i really do. It has everything i want: harem, incest, corruption and some loli.
But man, it just feels like some horrible fanfic (and after reading the authors back story, i know it actually is).
Its a bad incest harem VN that is forced on every level and every character falls in love with the MC for literally no reason in the first conversation. That doesnt even get me started on the religious drivel that is the foundation of this game.

I cant recommend it, there are way better harem incest games out there. Dont bother.

I can tell a lot of work and thought has gone into this... so I regret to give this game this review, but there is just something off about this game, to me. The characters (personalities and fucking makeup holy hell, I tried to give it a chance), the dialogs, the themes... this game dances around kinks I am usually VERY into, but something about how it comes together here is very much NOT for me.

It's like uncanny valley type shit? This game just feels WEIRD... coming from someone who rated LittleMan 5 stars hahaha. It plays as if the kinks in this game (fucking your daughter, fucking xx year old girls, fucking your mom and your wife being into it, etc) is normal and acceptable behavior in real life. Like it is as if the developer believed these things and therefore did not know how to make them seem taboo or did not think addressing the taboo needed to occur, because in real life they are not taboo so why would he do that? I am NOT claiming that is what the developer thinks, but that is 100% how the writing comes off to me... and it's weird.

LLD is fun, has many fantastic elements, and goes into dimensions that only enhance the plot and story direction.

In detail:
We have a wife open to sharing her husband, with her own Bi-instincts triggered when seeing him"play" with his students, his daughters, his own mother, and various other people.

Fantasical elements (no spoilers) are akin to Butterfly Effect (the film) plot ideas: If you change the past, you change the present... With a few limitations. Well done and the twists should keep on happening, because the "five" mentioned in the beach scene could be so many more in my opinion...

The use of religion as a plot device as something dark and sinister is very welcome to my Anti-religious perspective. Making those who are "devout" and "fanatical" into the antagonists and the torturers makes me grin and chuckle.

The writing is very good. A few typos and missed question marks in the mix, but overall, not too bad.

Over all - to my personal sensibilities - I love the dark stains that appear and choice offered for some very fun water effects. The fact that we *might* have some ovulating recipients of seed really drives me to anticipate impatiently what the rest of the game will develop into.

LLD is inspiring, in that I wish to turn my own erotic novels into multiple-path visual novel games.

For those seeking the UNEXPECTED TWIST - try this one out.

I can't really give this a better rating, even though I kind of would like to.
Here are the reasons.
1. The art is just not great. It really throws me off, and it's not just the make-up, no it's really all of it.
2. The writing is choppy and boring. I can't get a connection with any of the characters, nothing appears to be in any way believable, just boring and forced.
3. The way everyone jumps into incest just takes all the fun out of the taboo kink.
4. There's no tension, no apprehension, no seduction, but otoh there's also no good jokes or funny and unique characters. I mean, games don't have to be all about romance and seduction, but they have to have something special about them and this game is more like it tries to check all the boxes regarding sex.
It is as if the VN ALMOST touches all the right bases to be great, but just misses it ever so slightly.
And that coupled with art I really, really can't stand is just not worthy of a better rating.

Hook: A fascinating and admittedly titillating VN harem written by a stoner neo-Buddhist.


Best:
+ If you like incest, this VN has it in spades. As the Chad MC, fuck and breed you mom, wife, sisters, daughters, and even you time-displaced alternate-timeline daughters.
+ The writing (when it isn’t spewing stoner neo-Buddhist dogma) is pretty good quality.
+ The characters are steeped in heavy tropes but there are enough surprises to keep me interested.
+ The editing, spelling, dialogue pros, and general polish is solid.

Meh:
The models and backgrounds are from Koikatsu, which are generally fine. But the models, and especially the makeup chosen, take a lot of getting used to.


Bad:
- The tone is melodramatic and all across the spectrum of emotions. It’s not at all PC and is very confused. Plot elements include rape of a very young girl by own father, hyper-controlling parents, many incestuous daughters, an exhibitionist wife and MC, astute ‘Christians’ who also want to fuck you immediately, ham-fisted meta humor, and highschool bullshit teen girl drama.
- The aforementioned neo-Buddhist dogma is 80% skippable, but the author still inserts it in a couple places.

One of a kind VN with great presentation, the dev is not afraid to make this HIS product, inputting both his philosophies in many dialogues and also pushing incest to insane new levels of crazy, a work to be respected for how unique and daring, while also being self-aware and enjoyable, as well as respecting the player with many choices per scene. Do check this one out.

This is an interesting one. Be sure to read all the tags before playing or else you will end up surprised. I did not read the tags (or the discussion thread) thoroughly, and as such I am rating this higher than I would otherwise. The religious and philosophical content is abundant and is a turn-off for me, but the developer does make it clear that it is included heavily in the game. The girls are... odd? It's partially due to the art style of the visual engine and part due to developer choices (specifically regarding the makeup). Some people may enjoy it, but not for me. I cannot say that this is a bad game; the developer has clearly put much love into the project. I do appreciate the prompts for each scene detailing the included kinks, as well as the option to skip some of the non-sexy content. Give it a try if you like the tags, but if you are second-guessing after reading, maybe give this one a pass.

My reaction to this game is very very mixed. This game feels like a Marvelization with all the light heartedness attempts, which frankly fall flat. This really is a fucked up story and somehow it tries to be comical and fails. That doesn't even include how disjointed the plot feels at times because of all the alternate timeline. The lack of any real choice, which I admit is a personal preference, also doesn't help. I can't really give it one star though because I actually love the models.

(For Chapters 1-3)
So far the game's pretty good. The writing's decent, if silly, and can still manage a bit of emotional impact. The MC's past trysts repeatedly returning to haunt/seduce him is silly, but I like it. It's a spectacle to see how far it will go, especially since time shenanigans are involved, and though I skipped all of the in-depth religious dialogue, what remains in normal dialogue still provokes a bit of thought. It's interesting to see even the very open characters having their limits tested.

The character models are, for the most part, alright. Everyone seems to have a ton of blush on, faces are oddly flat especially when viewed from the side. Characters don't seem to be very expressive, which leads to a lot of uncanny open-eyed kissing, smiling faces with unchanging expressions as characters weep. So far it seems more like a kinetic novel than a visual novel, and choices only seem to dictate what scenes or dialogue you want to see. Or fetishes you want to avoid; Thank you for being able to skip urination scenes.

I do like that you are given plenty of options to name characters, locations, and other things. And despite the straightforward story, I've seen when someone attempts to do branching paths and say "your choices matter", only to have scenes follow each other strangely or have characters seem to have no short term memory (i.e. a character begins to like you, but old dialogue options still trigger dialogue from early in the relationship where you aren't nearly as close). Also, having so much music dedicated to character themes really makes scenes with specific characters feel more memorable. There are some other games that use just 1 or 2 music tracks over everything and it gets old fast.

The art design is a little wonky and the characters a little uncanny (especially the Harpy mascot), but the engine handles sex animations smoothly, there's plenty of thought put into the worldbuilding, the music is used well, and the absurdity of the story makes me want to see where this goes (especially if there is a lot of risk-free inbreeding involved). Also, Bunni is both helpful and cute. Looking forward to more.

I can confidently say that this is a game you ought to check out. It's fairly unique in its story and concept, and even with some strange Christian elements thrown in, I think the writing and story are solid. Although, personally, the reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the extreme amount of lesbian content. I have nothing against lesbians, but personally I'd rather not see it in a harem game. Again, this is my personal opinion, so if you have no negative feelings towards lesbian content, then this game is for you.

First I'll start off with an admission. I do not rate 5 star games as the best of the best. I rate them as what the rating says it is, aka Excellent.

This is an excellent little stupid but charming game, but you need to know what you are getting yourself into.

This game is about turning your family tree in a family circle. This is crusader kings 3, but set in a religious school where you are the sole male.

Every member of your family wants your cock, your cum, and in future, I'ma gonna gues the showering bill will go down, because you guys are going all naturel. I'm saying golden showers.

Has quite a bit of piss. I love that, you might not. It's skipable (mostly? I'm not sure since why would I even try)

It's not believable, it's quite stupid, and one model in particular is fugly. At least it's no mid life crysis where the absolutely fugly disgusting model is one of the main love interests. Here it's a side character, minor one.

If you're not into having a sister daughter and shagging the ever loving shit out of here, there is nothing in this game for you.

I find this VN to be utterly charming. Imagine smashing "Ecchi Sensei" and "A Course in Miracles" together at 3/5C. This would be one one of the more energetic byproducts. Artwork, characters and game mechanics are all fine (though I've never seen the phrase "Indigo Child" or "Bliss Ninny" before) - seems like the Dev is just starting making VNs and isn't trying to make a living off of this work. I see the Dev as really laying it out there - "I'm not selling anything, take it or leave it, but this is just me making a statement." That really works for me. Respect, pure respect.

And what a statement! This sucker is wildly creative! The ideas and relationships twist and turn like Space Mountain - all in service to the father/daughter kink. And if a bad guy looms on the horizon? Quick, change the universe! What a ridiculous plot device - but I absolutely adore it. Completely consistent with other ideas expressed earlier. Somehow the wacky new age theology balances the wacky narrative just right so it all holds together while it takes your breath away.

The school setting, medium and general weirdness remind me of "Lessons in Love". If you like LiL then you might like LLD (though LLD is LiL on steroids).

The built-in walkthrough is completely transparent. Dev flat out says, "Hey, I'm going this way now. If you don't want that you can go that way instead". Of course, where you actually end up is bizarro and unpredictable, but you were warned. I like that - not much of a hidden variables kind of guy myself. So there's absolutely no doubt where the story's going (so far!) but the imagery and revelations to date have been hugely entertaining. I'm enjoying the ride immensely through Chap. 3 though I can't say I understand any of the philosophical stuff - think of Jackie Chan's drunken kung fu style - completely out of control but completely unbeatable.

This game is a unique combination of knowingly absurd smut and fairly serious meditations on religion, philosophy, life, the universe and everything. Truly, the sublime and the ridiculous have never been so well balanced in a porn VN.
Highly recommended for all tremendous perverts who enjoy thinking about the big existential questions. Oh, and anyone with incest as a major kink.

Some stuff to really like here and the kinks are all stuff i like but i think it's all a bit disjointed. Too much going on at once. I don't mind stuff going fast and there is even a plausible explanation that the MC and his wife are very sexually open but some breathers in there may help with pacing. Models are all attractive and there are some nice custom animations but the renders and animations are not great quality. It's a nice feature for the dev to let the player skip some of the religious/philosophical exposition. As others have said the language is a bit peculiar i'm not sure if there is a reason for that other than the dev just liking to write that way but it can be a bit jarring. All in all i think this is an ambitious and solid first try. I'd say improving the quality of the graphics if possible would be my first suggestion.

If you ignore the religious/philosophy crap(An erotic visual novel is the last place where these matters will bother me.) this is a great game.
Great H-scenes, good dialogues, beautiful characters and nice music.
Definitely five stars.
