You don't say If you have the LongRoadHome-10_Part_4_beta with the added Update 1 or if you have Mods in your game.
If you have done everything right it shouldn't give you that screen but play on through Rin's date.
Then If your lucky you may just be missing a patch if not then you have a Broken game'
And may need a fresh install of part 4 and the part 4 update1.
However If you have it Modded that will likely be your issue.
But you also don't even say if you have the full version or compressed version.
So sadly with so little information to go on it's hard to tell what your issue is.

You prosume the Yakusa want the publisity that a Double Killing of two owners would bring.
Or because of that want to risk tipping Rin off that they are on her tail.
As far as they know Ryker and Rin left because they had to be somewhere.
And not because they knew the Yakusa was comeing for her.

Apart from the other answere you got.

Here's a couple of things aswell.
1. Etio is a greedy twat but not a tight twat how do I know well he has cameras to spy on the guests.
And as a greedy twat of course he's gonna have a security system incase he's robbed.

2. Etio told them his employee's IE more than one would attempt to hold up Rin's departure.
So there is allways a chance of a witness.
For instance the cousin is safe with Rin and Ryker you think she won't tell the cops it was Yakusa.

3. And this is a guess but how many rural robbery murder's in a country of easy Gun access.
Do you suppose are cut to pieces with a Katana?.

And finaly Apart from the fact that Etio is able to point them in the right area.
They really still wouldn't want to risk Rin hearing about a double murder at the place she just left.
And when She did they would assume that Rin would once again be gone with the wind.

I should just like to add these assumptions of mine are based on the belief that.
The Yakusa maybe Ruthless Killers but their Not Stupid Ones.

1) if she wants to make it look like a robbery she will destroy the surveillance equipment and/or take the hard drive from the office too

2) she just has to look at the security system to know that its only two of them beside Etio. I dont see Hanako talking to Cops anytime soon

That is what Rin and Ryker known. That isn't what Eito know or the Assasin (or even Hanako). It also isn't show if the cam including audio or not. Assuming Eito it wouldn't suprise me that he was too stingy to pay the extra for it.

And they will take compensation from Eito or Hanoko, which will means that Eito will lose money or body parts - Dima's note say pinky - and Hanoko might be enforce to do more lend act to cover for Eito's debt.

But Also yet a new complication should they kill them.

And none of this inclued's what we know that they don't know yet like Ryker, Rin and the Niece Knows.
It's either Yakusa or an agent for them and they have no doubts about that who else would be after Rin.

Ryker knowing this is and being the type that would want check up on the Onsen sooner than later.

Ryker's not the type to forget about the Onsen just because he escaped it.
A simple anonymous to his reporter friend or word in Torie's ear and sudenly the cops talk to cops.
And the Crime is plasterd all over the new which will probably then go nation wide.

I could go on as there's honestly more reason's not to kill them than to kill them.
But you will still ignore the logic to fit your own Idea's as you have already proved.
