and that season 2 would revolve more around the pasto(mayor) and the city council becoming the problems to deal with

so i doubt he'd take it to the start off S2,more likely a extra episode 10 part which is fine by me.
but you never know, he might indeed get some minion stuff in the start to help transition to the new narrative
