I thought better of the players on here I expect it from some threads but not this one.
I honestly thought NAH people on here would have more respect,
They wouldn't talk about what happends in a just released update before it's even availbe to the lowest tire.
Not even in spoiler's, maybe about how good or bad it is yeh or if there are typo's, unwanted loops, missing images even.
But not what actually happends in game.
I actually thought they would have more respect for thoughs that can't access it yet.
Look like I was oh so very very wrong.

well that's on you buddy, we put our shit in spoilers, don't read it and then get offended. First it's not a rule on the site whatsoever that we're not allowed to talk about new updates, spoilers or not. But we still do use the spoilers (most of the time anyway) out of courtesy for those who haven't played it yet. So if that annoys you, put the thread on ignore until it's public, and go complain somewhere else.

Yeah, I'm gonna hafta weigh in here... I agree it is extremely disrespectful to spoil a new update for those who may not have had time or opportunity to experience it for themselves. I am usually one of the first to chastise those who do it. In fact, that is precisely the purpose of the spoiler. All of the regulars on this thread are very consistent about making good use of that feature. I see no problem with those who have read an update discussing it when they are careful about using the spoiler feature. I understand feeling a bit left out and not having the opportunity to join in but it just doesn't constitute a breech of etiquette or disrespect. Anyone who doesn't want it spoiled just needs to be disciplined enough to not look. It really is that simple.

But I am a Patron of this game have been since I first started playing it near enough.
Top tire at that.
You honestly think I haven't already played this update only difference here is I won't normaly talk about plot event's.
Untill most on here have had a chance to play them not even in spoilers.
BTW spoilers don't always work and often have the opposite effect.
All your really doing in spoilers is pretending your not bragging about the fact you got to play it before many other did.

So no I will stick by my comment yes Typo's, Missing images other bugs fine but talking about the plot no.
And since I have already played it why shouldn't I check your spoiler's.
And finally learn the diffrence between an actual complaint post and one thats just expressing Disapontment.

I haven't played the update yet and don't want it spoiled, not clicking on the spoiler is working just fine for me. If someone else has that little self-control that's on them...

This was observed by me, not lived by me:

20 something years ago, some Germans showed up on a small village in the mountains. They started buying the empty houses. At that time, only 5 people were living in that village. All above 70 years old. One by one they sold them their houses too and moved to family or retirement homes.
When the village become empty, those Germans owned the whole aprox. 50 houses, and the lands and forests around. They asked and got, electricity taken there and started the process of re-building or modernizing those homes.
They were careful to keep the style and materials used in the area, most of it made by hand with locally sourced materials and techniques. The exception was the addition of bathrooms and several very deep wells that provided water to all the houses.
The construction took them over 2 years. Then they disappeared.
Months later the nearest village started to see young women with backpacks or bicycles on the roads leading there.
Police was called. They found a thriving community there. 1 man. Over 30 women. No cult. Just a VERY large communal marriage. All or most of the women have had children by now.
I visited the village a few years ago, they all now speak the country language. Kids go to school. No one has any problem with them.
They don't talk about their system, it's no one's business.

So, while I can understand that it isn't a common thing, I am absolutely certain that there are more cases of this all over the world. Maybe even under everyone's noses.

Will this work for everyone? I have no idea. Probably not.
There's a chance that something like this works for some? Absolutely YES.

Don't put everyone in the same bag. What may seem abnormal to you, may very well be the bread and butter of someone, somewhere.

Polyamory, even in extreme numbers, is REAL. Whether that agrees with you and your view of the world, or not.

No one that has been discussing the new update have said anything that spoils anything without spoilers. Personally I was very deliberate with what I put in spoilers as to not spoil anything. If people can't stop them self from clicking a spoiler that is truly a "them" problem and something I most definitely won't apologize for. This happen on basically every game thread and I have no problem with it and can contain my self from clicking on spoilers if I don't want to see them.

As for spoilers not work I agree Elduriel, never seen that happening but if it does for some people they need to talk to a site mod about why.

I agree with the "them" problem. Years ago I spoilered myself on a ending of a triple A game. I never said that this was sombody else fault than myself.
