I didnt meant to badmouth the avn when talking about the deepth, its not required or necessary as you said yourself, it was merely a reply towards the people mentioning that the poster wasnt able to keep up with the ("complex") story because of the many LI's ... the story is great imo too.

And yeah the the prefered number of LI's is simply a matter of personal taste as you said so i didnt understood why the guy got so much hate for stateing it lol
I think a big part of it was that he implied that the story doesn't move forward which is just downright incorrect, opinion or not.

This last Beta update for example, started a big side story for chapter 2.

Yeez there is a lot of cringe fanboyism here...
Honestly, I didn't care what you had to say after that opener. Just a FYI, regulars here are respectful to one another as well as citizens who don't yet speak the language. You are welcome to an opinion whether it be a minority or majority view. You will quickly find you are not welcome to present a salty attitude. This story offers a glimpse of the little known lifestyle of the American biker with a bit of former military service tossed in. It's a damn good story and, for most of us old war dogs, will never have too many hot women. That's my opinion. You are welcome to yours. I do advise, however, laying off the shit talk. I don't know what threads you usually frequent, but, in threads with HIGH participation, like this one, the "regulars" tend to really get riled up when unfair and imprecise posts show up.

Why? Well, many of us have dumped many hours (willingly) into this thread. Most of us have played and replayed the game, know the story back and forth, have engaged in hypothesizing over future plot points, have joked and laughed together for a rather long time. This made us feel like a community.

Then along comes a new user that starts by misinterpreting the story, implies that what should be under "personal responsibility" is rather a game problem. This brings the community out. Even if that user may have had ANY relevant point in what he said, as a personal opinion or otherwise, by being unfair, he doomed his comment to be disputed.

You can have an opinion, obviously, but know, that for it to be respected, show respect FIRST. It all comes down to that.

Peace :)

Yeah i know and i can understand it to a certain degree, i guess the difference is just that i didnt perceived his comment as this unfairly judgemental.

The part about the main story not moving forward was kinda bullshit as HornyyPussy mentioned as we got quite some progerssion but otherwise it wasnt nearly as bad as the real idiot trolls being around here who shittalk avns without any reason.

And the community part is awesome (and i played the avn at least three times at this point too) but it comes along as rather toxic like that but whatever, its getting blown out of proportion now and isnt really that important of a topic afterall

You should start to read stuff if youre going to comment otherwise its kinda useless. Im not sure why youre trying to educate me about the story, i never said anything bad about it and on the contrary mentioned how much i like the avn.

What i dont like are cringe toxic comments brainless defending just because they like it so much. The user wasnt a toxic troll but again, whatever.

First, nobody called that "user" a toxic troll but you. Second, you have definitely managed to convince me... You've convinced me that you are truly clueless and beyond redemption. Therefor, on the list you go.

Moving beyond this nonsense...

Here in America we are celebrating Thanksgiving Day. It's simply what it sounds like; a day to give thanks. So, I am thankful to Dima for creating this wonderful story and for all the entertaining hours it has provided for me both reading it and talking about it here with good friends. I am thankful for all the friends and acquaintances I have found here (even the Swedes). Sorry, HP, it was just stronger than me.:p I wish everyone here good health and happiness. May God bless you all.

I disagree with most of this sentiment. In general no one has really been toxic. But we did get riled up. And thats happens its the internet. They weren't attacked and neither were you. Though if you keep that salt in your mouth we may end up getting toxic. But I and many others here would prefer that didn't happen. So maybe lose the snarky attitude and comments and we can have an actual civil discussion...or don't its up to you. Just don't get mad at the consequences of your choice to continue with the snark. People get mad when you repeatedly make backhanded and hidden insults. You can add as much depth to your comments as you want but when it contains repeated insults hidden in the subtext yeah we get mad. Simple as that.

Yeez there is a lot of cringe fanboyism here, the users post wasnt even isulting or critisicing this much about the avn, it was more like a matter of stateing his opinion.

Imo he's right about the point that its slowly becoming too many girls, and he probably doesnt lack the mental capacity to "keep up" with it, i love this avn but its not like its a super deep philosophical story, what are you guys even talking about.

Imo (!!!) to many LI's break a the immersion/believeability of a story. Like come on, if it becomes 10+ serious relationships, how does anyone even manage his time and our mc in particular has a lot of other shit to manage as well.

Its always about the balance, every new LI will reduce the time of relationship development of other LI's so i guess everyone has some kind of arbitrary number where he/she thinks its simply too much. I think its maybe 10 (preferably less) while other may are fine with 30 or unlimited.

Its not a big deal but theres no reaon to display the user as an unreasonable troll lol
There was no trolling it was a justified correction. There are many veterans in here that could string together plenty words/phrases of encouragement with enough vitriol at a moments notice but we're better than that. However as most will read we won't treat anyone with kid gloves either. Body language can't be read through text. Perceived context is up to the individual reading the words putting someone elses voice in their head.

Cringe fanboying you say? So you're trolling people who enjoy something fervently? Are we back to the only acceptable form of appreciation is to like something moderately?

Too many LI's/story "belief" ability? One day people will hopefully learn that this is for entertainment purposes. Most of the women are side pieces or "modern day concubines."
The main girls: Jessy, Tracy, Rachael, Willow, Katie, Angel, Rin. By my count that is way less than ten. Hell, if you're on the Chloe path she even states "I don't need much just spend time with me when you can" or something to that effect.
Once again, the Ottoman empire, hell even during Mauryan Empire in India had large harems that consisted of concubines, slaves that were well into the triple digits. While some elements may be based on real life much like folk tales including the ultimate tale, some book about a zombie named Jesus, that has been rewritten numerous times, started wars and watered down to be misinterpreted by many is fiction.

Better than roasting it in the oven. I can't tell you how many dry turkeys I've suffered over the decades. Then again I've never been much of a turkey fan anyway. When it comes to poultry I prefer chicken thighs. I wonder what kind of hodge podge the golden cock of Berdoo would be having? Would Larisa be making everything? Would she even be making something traditional?
