I apologize for the big gap between updates. I've had some RL issues to deal with, but I have them behind me now.
I'm still working on the Leelee event while also working with a proofreader to help me clean up the typos, grammatical errors and wordsmith some of the poor sentence structure.
While he's proofreading the scripts, I've modified the coding to make the animations run more smoothly. In doing so, I found a couple of animations that were in the game, but didn't display because they were not coded in the scene menu to run.
I review each proofread episode script before putting it in the game. Editing the dialog embedded within Ren'Py code can be tricky. I have to ensure any coding errors created during editing are corrected. It's a slow process but the story reads much smoother without the emersion breaking typos and grammatical errors. That, coupled with the coding changes, makes the game feel much more polished. IMHO
Also, I've corrected several non-game-breaking coding and story continuation errors.
I re-rendered a few images that had anomalies and added a couple to make the scene images match the dialog better.
And lastly, I've broken up the mess I created with the Episode 10 Part 4 beta! I split Episode 10 parts into five episodes. If you look at the game folder, it has ep10, ep10p2, ep10p3 and ep10p4.
Ep10 remains Episode 10. (No duh!)
Ep10p2 in the game is Episode 11.
Ep10p3 in the game is Episode 12.
Ep10p4 is split. Starting with Episode 13 and then into Episode 14.
Clear as mud, right? Believe me I'll do my best not to create a clusterfuck for myself like that again!
Episode 14 ends with the Nora event. I added an option to choose not to have sexual relations with Nora while maintaining a Wife or Girlfriend relationship with Rachael. I also added more options when dealing with Megan in the workout room.
Episode 15 will start with an MC/Tracy H scene and then the Leelee date. There will be a few other scenes in the episode to further tie up some loose ends.
Once I've reviewed the final edits this week, I'll release the final version of Episode 14 to all tiers. There is no new content per se, but it does have significant improvements to readability and gameplay.
I've made all the changes with the goal being to not affect anyone's save games. Because I've added a few images to different episodes, I'll only release a full update. There have been too many changes for me to make a patch and not to have missed something.
As many times as I'm going through the scripts, I hope I haven't missed anything!
A big thanks to motseer for offering his expertise in proofreading and suggesting edits to the scripts. He's spent a considerable amount of time and effort improving the readability and depth of the story. We didn't always agree on things but that's on me. I'm stubborn and don't change my mind easily, if at all. (Just ask my wife!)
I'll give an update for Episode 15 in a few weeks.
