Now, you're making me hungry... McDonald's makes a half decent sausage, cheese and egg biscuit, and there's one just about 5 blocks away. Think I'll take a walk...I'm skeptical - but I try and avoid burgers nowadays - fast food ones at least.

I think that was a challenge, Marty!
I would assume he may have Russia (Or Ukraine or Belarus) roots and might not speak more than a few words of Russian himself. Or his parents just named him Dimitri. Other named their kids eg. X Æ A-Xii for whatever the fucking reason they might have. The novel is incredibly well-made — I highly recommend it. That said, one thing really blew my mind today. ChatGPT insists the game’s author goes by the nickname “Dimitri57,” which strongly suggests roots in Russia, Ukraine, or Belarus. But how could a native Russian speaker make such obvious grammatical mistakes and use phrasing that no native would ever say (in the dialogue between the Russian sisters at the café)? I was actually planning to message the developer last week to suggest cleaning up the Russian so it doesn’t come off as embarrassing. But now I’m not so sure… maybe it’s some kind of subtle post-irony I completely missed.
