when asked for a release date for "civi's" dimi responded saying 2 weeks(1 week after lowest tier "hang-around") maybe the idea off no public release came from that it tends to leak before the 1 month after initial release.

or am i assuming wrong that release for civi's is public release?

Semantics. Once it's released here, yeah, it's public. There just isn't ever a release called "public release".

So far, if it was leaked, Dima was ok with it or even authorized it. There have been very few instances when he put it here himself. His patreon's are extremely loyal. In the past there may even have been an instance where a "disloyal" patreon became a no-longer-a-patreon. Jus' Sayin'

They work correct. The GOFILE v10p4UP1 goes for the (full) v10p4UP1 file and the update from v10p4UP1 to v10p4UP2 goes to the update file.

I guess I downloaded the wrong file, but that seems to be a common mistake, possible because of poor wording?
Accidentally downloaded "Long_Road_Home-10_Part_4_beta-patch2" with just the game folder rather than the full game.
Currently downloading "LongRoadHome-10_Part_4_Beta_Update_1_pc" instead, hoping that is the full game.
It seems like I'm not the only one, but just tossing my experience onto the pile.

well the "LongRoadHome-10_Part_4_Beta_Update_1_pc" is current full game file.
the "Long_Road_Home-10_Part_4_beta-patch2" is lastest update (not yet) included into main file,which you have to manually add to the game folder to play.

in Terminal chmod -R +x [B]LongRoadHome.app/MacOS might work. You might also have to tell gatekeeper that it's OK - even if you did get it from the internet.[/B]

Unfortunately, in Terminal using the above suggestion, I get a message "No such file or directory" even though it is sitting on my desktop. As for Privacy and Security, it doesn't get to the point of flagging the file because it doesn't open at all.
