Yes, you need to not proclaim her as your "girlfriend" at the beginning of Sarah and Stefan's engagement dinner.

To be honest we should have an option for all souls behind saving to not go after Nora even if we want to Racheal as our girlfriend and future wife.

Too dificulty to read? Perhaps they want a picture book. But then again, they should as their mommy and daddy if they are allowed to play the game in the first place and then in the second they could help them...

It's not seen, but it's implied in the dialog, that Rachel has been planting the seeds with Nora while they've worked together on Sarah's wedding. Nora is a woman of business and moves decisively once she has made a decision. She's not one to second guess herself.
