Not so sure about this. Yes, I believe the ring was planted at S&D's order. But it was to sway Angelica not test Ryker. If Ryker had known, his reaction or lack of, could have alerted her to something fishy.

They didn't say anything to him either. And in the dialogue between Stella and Stan it is clear that they planted the ring in advance and none of them told Ryker (or Angelica) about this.

Snooping around City Hall, I found out Tori is going to create a new unit in the San Bernardino PD. An anti trafficking squad aimed at the drugging and human trafficking of women.
The new squad will be know as the Tactical Women's Assault Team.
