The meaning is that the Minions are all dead..., they just haven't been informed of the fact, yet.

Well, yeah, that was a nice side benefit. They definitely planted it, or rather, they likely had Sluggo plant it. That's what HP meant by "controversial ending". There was quite the debate about the ethics involved at the time that episode was published. Haha, can you imagine? Ethics... in a war!

All's fair in love and war, but in reality Stan and Della were 100% sure the Minions had something to do with it anyway. It may not have been the best way to go about getting Gella to join their side, but it worked, so ethics aside, if it was for Stan and Della's idea of 'the greater good', then I really can't hold it against them.

It would be funny if after all of it we get a flashback to the son pulling over, pissing in the river, falling in, Angelica's sister tries to help and gets swept away too...

That's all very true, but if you remember, Quack confessed to Ryker and Kat that he was the one who ambushed and killed Big Ed. From that moment, the war was on! All the rest is just dotted "i's" and crossed "t's". Angelica is part of their plan for drawing the Minions out into the open. That's why selling the planted ring was important, and why some questioned the "ethics". Like you said, "All's fair...".

Well, a month ago I was poking fun at the fact that there were only two events left, and I was sure it wouldn't be too long for that, but here we are, a month later, and it's still not here, so, who the hell knows. It could be anytime between now and Christmas.
