Fair enough. I'll forgo the cool title.

I'll take 14+1 capacity in a semi-auto over 6 rounds in a wheel gun any day. (y)
Contrary to popular belief, certain variations of the .45, the S&W .45-70 and the .357, .44 and .50 desert eagle are, in fact, the most powerful handguns in the world. Also, you better have very good wrists and forearms if you are going to fire them. :D

Man this specific forum is awesome. Make a basic reference with no thought (a standard which I'm proud of :ROFLMAO: ) and a person ends up learning about bikes, cheap beer and guns :ROFLMAO:. Hate to spoil my post, but the only time in the service I used a gun, is during boot. With the seal ready to kick my ass if I screwed up, no thoughts were about the target. I still say, the ceiling had some new holes after I emptied the clip . Navy weapon choice, the .45 with a clip of small caliber ammo. The lesson was to assemble and de-assemble a weapon (following safety procedures) after a 15 minute orientation.

The only guns we got to fire during my cruises were the 16-inch guns of the Jersey and the Phalanx gun for closeup support. Primary mission, launch everything that could fly. Felt like I had a bullseye on my ass for a few years.

My father served on the Iowa during the Korean war. His battle station was in one of the 8-inch guns. He told me it felt like the ship would keel over when they fired a salvo with all the 16-inch guns.

I have exhaustively trained my right wrist and foreman since I was a young teenager... :sneaky:

I heard something once (don't know if I really remember or how true it is) that if a BB fired all it's main guns off to the side at the same time, would push the ship 3 miles in the other direction...always gave me a chuckle to think about it

only time in the service I used a gun, is during boot
In USMC boot during the peace time 1980's we trained with the M16A1 and briefly with the M1911. My primary military firearms experience was on the rifle and pistol ranges for training. The bulk of my actual firearms expertise is from civilian life both before and after my active time as a US Marine. I am primarily proficient with rifles but I can still hit a fist sized group at up to 50 feet with most pistols. With an AR platform I can consistently hit the bullseye from 300 meters out and up to a 500 meters with a Springfield M1A (the civilian M14.)
My father served on the Iowa during the Korean war
My father served aboard a destroyer escort at the tail end of WWII and my stepdad served in the Vietnam Conflict. Both were Navy men. Both saw some battle action and did not discuss their service openly.
I have exhaustively trained my right wrist and foreman since I was a young teenager
Most of my finger, hand, wrist and forearm strength was developed by playing upright and electric bass for 6-8 hours each day.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with an H&K USP in 9mm! I can easily get double taps on a second target before the severe recoil of a .44 magnum or larger caliber pistol will allow a second shot! No worries, Snake.

Honestly y'all, the choice of firearm has everything to do with the need and ability of the shooter. My personal preference these days is an AR rifle, a S&W .357 magnum, a Bond Arms .45 cal./.410 gauge derringer, a hip fired .12 gauge (just can't shoulder fire the damn thing!) and as always... my bow. I've never had to fire a shot or loose an arrow in anger nor have I ever felt the need to go hunting since I live in the city and can easily get meat at the market. However, I do know how. Sic Vis Pacem Parabellum... If you want peace, prepare for war. So, I, like our MC Ryker am ALWAYS prepared for war...

We had one firearm in the house growing up, grandpa's revolver, but dad never fired it or allowed me to do more than just look at it. Dad's time as a Navy man in WWII left him wary of firearms however he still taught me everything he knew about archery and bow hunting which led me to become an expert archer now with over 45 years experience. The 1911 .45 acp was always a favorite for me as it had sufficient power to knock a target on their ass at close range and light enough recoil to quickly regain a site picture on the next target. I shy away from larger caliber handguns to avoid wrist fatigue and potential injury and the big recoil of .44 magnum and higher calibers takes the pistol too far out of the site picture between shots for my taste. I prefer to make a rapid succession of well aimed shots to possibly NOT getting the chance to make a second shot. The 9mm parabellum round, even a .22 LR round can easily kill at close range with a properly aimed shot. And, don't think that body armor is a challenge for a shooter like me. Hitting an enemy combatant in the neck, under arm or groin can cause a bleed out in just a few seconds.

But, old Phat is just rambling on per usual now. Like our friend Runner, I too enjoy how simple, off hand comments can often spark a much greater conversation and though we all share a bit of competitive nature, it never gets mean spirited because we all seem to respect one another here. I consider you all my friends and enjoy our collaborative discussions and conversations. :)

Meanwhile, I am SERIOUSLY chomping at the bit to play the next installment of Long Road Home! So, I hope that you are making steady progress, Dimitri, and that the turmoil in your family life has calmed and returned to the usual happy home life.

Adventure ever on my friends, Phat:devilish:(y)

PS: Can't wait to see the girls new Fox Box outfits in action!!!:devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish:

Well, that pretty well sorts out which of us is older, Phat. I was setting the range record (for recruits) with the M16 at Paris Island, SC just a little more than a dozen or so years before you were a boot. Ultimately my primary "tool" became a heavily modified Dragunov. It had both a scope for day and an experimental infrared for dawn and dusk (not much use at night, really). A flash and sound suppressor that was almost two inches in diameter added almost 14" to the barrel length and it fired NATO 7.62x54mm FMJ. It was a sweet weapon and most of the use I had for it occurred at between 700 to 1000 m. I fired the M1A a few times as well. Nice rifle.

Sounds awesome, brother! All my shooting was done with iron peep sites. I never learned to use a scope. I do have some experience with the M1A that is also chambered in NATO 7.62x54mm/Winchester .308 but only with the iron sites, never a scope. From what little I know, that Dragunov was a beast of a sniper rifle.

Exactamundo, Fonzy! But, where's my Ashley??? Oh Ashley? Would you mind meeting me in the office? I have something special for you, my sexy little vixen...:devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish:
MC is definitely having better luck enjoying the perks of running a titty bar than James did...
It will be a miracle if he doesn't get sued for sexual harassment.

If Rae wants to play the barter game then I'll just be happy to have break time with Tracey and assessing Ashley's assets after hours before heading home to my #1 Babe Jessy or out on a hot date with Katy Bunny or Wonderful Willow!:devilish:(y) Still curious to see what Katy thinks of Auntie Kat's notion that MC put a bun in Katy's oven!

Oooooo... I hope Katy says yes!:devilish:(y) Getting a hot girl pregnant is the ultimate sexual experience any man can have IMHO. Also, it leads to horny pregnant sex so it is a double blessing involving gallons of cream pies!:devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish:

In all honesty, for the gorgeous gingers in game, I still prefer Tracey to Rachael. Don't get me wrong, Rae is amazing! Date night with her in that fab gold dress was a highlight of the whole game! But, I would still take Tracey or Ashley... or Tracey AND Ashley over Rae... especially if she is attempting emotional blackmail...

Sorry, Rae. I do still love you but if you want anything... just ask. You do not need to barter for favors. I'll gladly do whatever you ask of me because, as I said, I do love you.

Thank you for the spicy hot previews, brother! Adventure ever on, Phat:cool:(y)

Love this old folks/bar chit chat, and i also cant wait for my cougar mama and my long legged goddess to make me damn happy is this fking month
The chit chat is sooo much better here then in some other game threads on here. Came over here to wash out my eyes from the word "bruh" someone used....yes words back in the day like "tubular", "far out", ect... not used in the comedic sense drive me nuts. I very much wanted to post this into that person's comment, but I held my proverbial tongue as to not piss off the mods.

Hehehe... Family Guy is hilarious and I would say that particular clip probably fit the bill as you were thinking... Kudos for the restraint... hehehe;)
