I really wouldn't hesitate to play the part 4 beta updates as they become available. They each continue on from where the last one left off. I understand why Dima calls them "beta's" but they just as easily could have been called part 4, part 5, part 6, etc. There hasn't been any need to start over nor is there likely to be... Other than the pure joy of experiencing the story and the hotness contained therein.
Ha! The bulk of it is awful but when used for satire I don't mind. I actually enjoy those covers. I remember listening to Run Ruldolph Run as a kid by Chuck Berry thinking, "here is some Christmas music I might actually enjoy." I lost count how many times I have bought the full album Oi! to the World by the Vandals.
Understandable to a point but as was said, these aren't really "beta", it was just Dima's way of dividing up an update that ran away from him size/content wise.

Also how can a normal zoner make sense out of this that even think 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, ..., means 10%, 20%, 30%, ... is finished from the somewhere in the future finished game. I know, I seen some devs, that go from 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, ..., 0.9 and then 0.95, 0.96, ..., 0.99, 0.991, ...
Still believe if I ever make a game myself, the version numbers will be whatever word my thump land on in the dictonary.

Digital people are dot happy. There's not a damn thing wrong with 1,2,3,4,5... other than convention. Convention be damned. I would call them alpha, beta, gamma, delta... and when the second update came out and everybody started asking if this was a beta release I would ban them from the thread for three days at a time until they learned to stop asking...
